We stayed here with my co teachers in October. I have booked our stay a month before our trip with the expectations that we'd be staying in the building that they were publishing on line. To my horror, we have booked in the old building which was submerged in water, as it was raining hard that time.|The owner was not around and it was only the front desk guy and some other guys who dealt with us.|At first there were exclamation points and question marks everywhere as we were getting frustrated with the situation.|However..we finally settled on to something. It was a good thing that there wasn't any bookings so have the place to our selves.|Make sure when you book to not get the ground floor rooms. One of them had a leak on the ceiling..so it was actually dripping inside. So 2 of my friends have to move to another room.|Rooms on the second and third floors are ok. Ours had a noisy aircon and a rickety bed...the rooms reeked with cigarette smell. I never get to see the room that we have booked because one look at it and i lost my interest...should you book for this place...get the rooms in the new building... Get the second floors...|In fairness we were able to sleep well that night...maybe because we were just too tired.|The place may not be that good but at least the staff were ok...although they left us after we paid..haha..as they also need to go home...there was one guy left to listen to our request...which in fairness...was delivered.|All in all if you would stay in this place.. Dont expect too much...remember they have a very affordable rate...just make sure you communicate well what...
Read moreThis hotel offered a much better accommodation than the hotel that we took on our first night. Room with 2 single beds was priced at Php.650.00( US$ 14.50) for a 24-hour stay. Spacious, clean and with an AC that worked perfectly well, we really had a good night rest here. Also, the owner let us stay in the hotel restaurant to chat and have a few rounds of beer. We also brought in a bottle of brandy with now corkage charge. ||||PROS: Near the city-center, and the SM Mall; peaceful and quiet neighborhood; nice room, clean sheets, beds were not that comfy but they were alright; bathroom was clean and the water pressure was very good; clean towels, safe parking for car and motorcycles; there's a guardhouse and security guard just in front of the hotel. Room service available. There's a menu card inside the room and although we never did try ordering any drink or food, staff told us breakfast is available by request. ||||CONS: Few room amenities. There were 2 of us in the room but were given only a single, small soap. There was no garbage bin inside the room but its was promptly provided we we asked for it. There was a flat-screen TV but it was not cable-connected; no WI-FI in the room or anywhere in the hotel. Strangely though, the hotel staff despite being friendly and attentive, were unusually jittery about getting paid that they followed us upstairs to our room when we were about to sleep at 1:30am to demand that we settle everything (ie. room, drinks ) before we go to bed. Nevertheless, save for the hotel staff's restlessness, I would still recommend this nice hotel to friends and...
