2nd Lime Hotel we’ve stayed in and can’t say it’s worth it. Concept is a great idea but the execution sucks. Upon entry everything looks luxurious, until little things start to add up. 1. Upon check in they requested $x pesos for incidentals, which is standard. But then they said they only accept “cash.” Clearly they do not per the sign pictured below. 2. The smell of Lime scent seems to be masking some other oder
but it’s way better than the sewage smell from the El NIDO Lime resort 3. Rooms were very dusty, as our kids socks went from light colors to black after walking around in the room. Most likely due to all the construction towards the ocean where they’re literally dumping gravel to build out towards the ocean. But why wouldn’t management require staff to make sure the room floors were clean if they know dust makes it in when the sliding doors are opened (see pics below) 4. Little details in the room just showed how half a$$ management was in ensuring quality. Shower doors out of alignment so water goes out the door, and no anchors to hold up the towel racks so they’re bent and coming out of the wall. (Pics below) 5. (Not pictured) Toilets don’t seem to fully flush so there was always left overs stewing in the bowl 6. Wi-Fi only works in your room. Once you roam the hotel, you lose the WiFi signal. 7. Parking attendants were overly concerned with our coming and going. We were there for two nights, paid for parking, but every time we wanted to leave it was like crossing a boarder. “Where are you going?” “Are you coming back?” “What time?” Frankly, we finally said it’s none of your business. I didn’t see a review where a guest went back to their room because they forgot something and found staff going through their things. Even with the “Do not clean” sign on. Since parking has you license if they know when your leaving and coming back they can find out your room. 8. Lastly, upon check out they said it could take up to 2-3 weeks for the money they took out for incidentals to be credited
took 24hrs for them to taking from our account đŸ€š Only difference I found from this Lime from the one in El NIDO is this hotel had a much nicer spread for breakfast and the top deck pool was nicer because you didn’t have the aroma of sewage. Once construction is done I’m sure the view will be more pleasant, but right now it’s a complete eye sore of dredging and dirt dumping barges. Could have designed more seating around the pool area, but we were in the water most of the time anyway. Positives: Restaurant staff seemed nice, and we were always greeted upon entry. Also, not too far from the airport and a short walk (15min) to the mall and other attractions. Seemed like the general staff was happy and pleasant, but the management of overall hotel quality and customer service could be significantly improved. There’s a lot of other options nearby, so I’d highly recommend looking at other locations before settling on a Lime Hotel

CHECK IN: Cons Extremely slow. Took us around 45min to 1 hour to be checked in. Very long lines and people are getting annoyed by the long lines. They served raisin bread and iced calamansi juice, I think, to try to pacify the crowd. Lobby is really crowded. Poor quality key cards. Picture in the cards are faded.

Pros: The staff were friendly and tried to accommodate us.

ELEVATORS: 3 elevators CONS Really slow. Cramped and small. At one point we had to take the for escape along w some other guests because of how slow and cramped the elevators are

ROOM: CONS We booked a family room (4 beds). We paid extra for another bed and toiletries since we're 5 in hthe family. We were told that the bath towels will be given to follow but we had to follow-up 5 times before it gets delivered. It's 11pm now and the extra pillow has not been given even though we have followed up more than 10 times now. The floor tiles look chipped off - risk of fall. No pen and stationary for customer feedback. TV's audio is inconsistent. More often than not, nobody answers the speed dial to room service/housekeeping NO/POOR CELL SIGNAL INSIDE. Can hear outside noise from inside the room. Walls, furniture appears of poor quality When the staff knock/buzz in the door bell, they do so consecutively without waiting for a while before knocking/buzzing in again which is annoying. There is 1 button for all the main room lights so you cannot just choose to open one at a time No laundry bag in the room Counter where bathroon sink is too small, not enough space to put much on the aide of the sink. Some outlets are not well fixed on the wall. There were no surfaces to put your own personal toiletries int be shower room

PROS: Big Tv Smart room - has buttons controlling curtains, lights. Well lit Spacious With veranda Good wifi connection

i think they've invested more on having the room automated (buttons for lights and curtains) that it compromised other room qualities.

LIME BEACH CLUB CONS: Very slow service. The waitress initially told us that they do not serve house water but then we saw someone else being served house water so we pointed this out to them. The menu is not updated and lacking a couple of drinks. Food choices do not have much variety Overpriced food imo. Taste is a hit-and-miss. Better to go to nearby foodpark. Regarding payment - bills for drinks for food are separated. Not efficient. When we handed over the card for payment, the staff walked away with the card without so much as a word. We told them to bring back our card so we can swipe on the spot. The staff punched in the card without showing us the punched price. View is the construction site.

POOL CONS: Small so easily crowded Walk way is narrow - risk for fall No towels

PENTHOUSE RESTAURANT: CONS: We were not able to dine here last night because they told us the waiting time for food was 1-2 hours if we order then - we came at 6pm

BAYSIDE BUFFET (BREAKFAST) CONS: Very few food and drink choices. Food- egg station fruits station (with only 1 fruit - papaya) cereal - corn flakes and coco crunch, milk champorado w milk hot cake main dishes: rice, bangus a la pobre, corned beef, chicken tocino bread station: 3 kinds - pan de sal, foccacia, (cant remember the 3rd one) kakanin station - palitaw salad station Drinks- brewed coffee tea water milk Water cups looks low quality - i think material is plastic, looks similar to what you see in food courts. Food quality and taste is nothing exceptional. It tastes how it should.

** Very disappointed. This was not a relaxing stay, I hope you improve but for now, I will not be recommending this hotel and therefore will not be...

Before checking in I read a lot of bad reviews but tried to keep an open mind. To their credit they seemed to address yhe consistent complaints you can read from other reviews, like the smell - I didn’t find any unpleasant odor during our stay; the slow elevators being used by both service and guests - they place a sign that one elevator is a service elevator but still gave priority to guests for that elevator, internet connection - strong wifi but internet speed fluctuated. My smart sim only got Edge when turning on data. It is because of this visible effort to improve I was initially happy with our stay. There is nonlonger a corkage fee for food brought from outside. The reclamation of Manila bay is unforunate for them and they should not be blamed for the view. But by the end of our stay they still have a ways to improve. So this review is in the hope they do.

Staff: polite enough. Not exceptional but far from rude. They did their best to keep guests happy. It is obvious they are just following instructions but lack enough info to give acceptable answers. And you will feel a difference during peak hours like breakfast and check-in.

Service: response time was very slow. 2-3 follow-ups were needed. I could not understand why I could not register early knowing I would not get a room until official check in time since I was to attend a conference so that at the end of the day all I had to do was get the room key. This is standard for all hotels. But for this hotel there was an additional charge even though we explained we would not use the room yet.

Amenities: The reuseable water bottles have an additional charge if you ask for a refill. Other hotels charge for additional bottled water but those are commercial bottled water. For the price of the rooms you would expect drinking water to be complementary. You would also assume that a reuseable bottle would also be refillable.

Parking - limited spaces. Nowhere enough for the number of rooms. You will probably need to park in the open parking approximately 100 meter walk to the front door. Check out is 12 noon. If you leave the parking area past 12noon you will be charged.

Room: we stayed in the king premiere suite. The room was nice. Good for 3 adults. But the bathroom is seethrough. Toilet and shower are glass and sliding walls are 95% seethrough. If they allow 3 adults you would think there was a way to provide privacy. Lights in the bathroom turned on automatically in the middle of the night. Given the bathroom was seethrough it was bright enough to wake me up. No one was moving to trigger a sensor as they claimed. No one knew how to stop this from happening and the only solution they could provide was to cover the light. For some reason also the water from the shower’s cubicle made it all the way to the toilet cubicle. Breakfast buffet - you have to ask for bacon. They give you as much as you want but it is not displayed with the other food.

All in all the experience was similar to business hotels in the States and not similar to the experience you get from Philippine hotels. Kudos to the staff. But the management needs to step up and find ways to improve...

Lime resort has a great location specially that it is near PICC. It will really be a go-to-place for delegates who will have an event at PICC.

First of all, I think the selling factor of the hotel is its view. Unfortunately, there is already an ongoing land reclamation construction beside it so the selling view of the hotel is no longer there.

2nd, they have a smart room. Everything you want to do can already be controlled by a single tablet. Open the curtains, control the aircon, open and close the TV, choose a movie or channel, control the lights or even call the reception desk

The employees are all corteous and accommodating. They will greet you and tend to your needs urgently.

What I dont like about this hotel are the following:

Small and slow elevator: For a hotel that is capable of accommodating a large number of guests, this is not a good feature. Only limited of people can access the elevator at a time. It will take you 15-30mins just waiting for the elevator. It is not spacious enough. It can only hold a maximum of 4-5 person WITHOUT any luggage. If you have a luggage with you, it will only fit 2-3 people. Imagine the wait. So good luck if you have a conference or seminar to go to. Make sure to be early so you can be there on time. Cause just by waiting for the elevator, it will already take up too much of your time.

Smelly hallways

Dirty carpets on the hallway

The 1st floor is accessible to the public even if there are guests staying there. the 1st floor are the rooms that starts with number "1" example: Room 101, 102 and so on. The Lobby where the reception is also located is the "2nd" floor. So rooms that starts with "2" example: Room 202, 203 and so on. Those two floors are accessible to the public. Imagine paying the same amount as other guests but you dont get the same priviledge of privacy and security that you deserve.

Slow service It will take about 45mins to 1hr before your order will arrive. And you will wait for 30mins for your bill. And the fact that the sky lounge is not even full of customers, will make you think and wonder whats the hold up with your orders. Example: my friend and I ordered two cocktail drinks. We were the ONLY guest at the swimming pool area. No other guests at the restaurant and swimming pool. But it almost took an hour for our 2 cocktail drinks to arrive.

Make-up room that doesnt really make up your room On the 2nd day of our stay, we decided to make-up our room. When we got back that night, they just throw our trash but everything is the same. Its like they didnt clean the room at all.

Towels were not replaced. Even though we placed the towel on the floors. We have to call the reception again to have new ones.

Overall, I recommend that if there are still other hotel that is available, stay there rather than in Lime hotel. But if you just want a place to sleep in and nothing more, Lime is a budget friendly place for you.

Like what my friend said, Lime Hotel is like a...
