Visited seascape feb 20 for lunch specifically to return to Asian Taste. Downgraded rating from 5 to a 2. Reason for this food did not arrive, service sucked. We ordered what we liked from Jan visit and decided to add a grilled lapu lapu. Followed up lapu lapu 30 mins in, by then we had finished 2 of the 4 orders, 45 mins in was told grilled fish ready in a few, 70 mins in nothing arrived. I asked for the bill and said cancel the order thats not there we are nalipasan na. Suddenly in 20 seconds the fish arrives "sorry looking" like its been sitting in the kitchen waiting for whatever. I said not interested in eating anymore. No apologies were given so I insisted to call the mgr. When the guy came over he said sorry for mix up. I said its not only that, reason given was resto got busy and too many orders - i said dont sit people you cant serve and dont charge me for something that did not arrive. He went back to correct the bill. We sat down again waiting for a receipt and change. Another 15 mins passed so I insisted asking for a receipt which they gave but never gave our change. So be warned the food is good and reasonably priced but service today sucked BAD time.
Visited seascape jan 23 for lunch. Rated 5. Place is open but limited options for seafood supplier 2 to be exact. We decided on Asian taste. The food was well cooked and tasted right. The waiter oliver who served us was very good, attentive and showed us the crab before cooking. We will...
Read moreFood was fantastic! It was my son's birthday and we bought seafoods from the nearby wet market (clean wet market btw). Bought some crabs, live shrimps (suaje) scallops, lapu-lapu fish (a.k.a) grouper fish and had it weighed in Asian Taste Seafood. The GOOD NEWS is they allow 1/2 kilo cooking which is half the cost of a 1 kilo paluto. Unlike in the old Dampa, they still charge 1kilo paluto even if your seafoods weigh only 1/2 kilo or less. 😔 Best part is the cook/chef knows exactly what kind of dish you request!! For our crabs, we settled on those salted egg crabs which were finger-licken salted egg bits. Freshly baked cheesy scallops which almost melted in our mouth, superb crispy sweet and sour lapu-lapu with sweet mango toppings, roast duck, for our choice of meat, rockin hot & spicy szechuan french beans with chili flakes, sweet steamed shrimps with special shrimp sauce (I say sweet because it brought out that goodness from the live shrimp) , Oh so good special miswa noodles, and never-fail salted fish fried rice!! Our total bill good for 7-8pax was only P3,700 all paluto request challenge were satisfied!!! I say it's a winner 4x A...
Read moreGenerally good to great paluto dishes. However, the service was terrible. The manager who took our order was deceptive/fraudulent. He said that the Lapu Lapu is at P3,600 per kilo, and when we got the bill it was at P4,400. The crab as well was mentioned to be at P2,000 per kilo but we were billed at P3,100.
There was bad faith and misrepresentation of prices, and these were not communicated to us. They were insisting that these were the actual prices, and even initially denying that he quoted those prices.
The final bill still was not revised accordingly. Very deceptive and negative experience because of this.
For those planning to dine here, clarify the prices first and put into writing when you...
