We had a reservation made last aug 10 hnd you need to pay half of the total amount to make a reservation not that convinient but still we want to try so we made a deposit for a group of 30pax with kids. We dine today aug23 and parking is abig problem they dont offer free parking if you're not checking in means if you're going to dine in you're not allow to park in the bldg at level4, so we ask the guard if we could park bcoz we have seniors and it raining today typhoon...glady the guard give us a pass if not still you will walk in the rain to just dine in bcoz we already make a down payment👎food was good for the promo price of 899pesos...problem is seating arrangement they gave us 2 row with an half wall seperating us ...they should put us in the area along the dessert section much wider and no wall seperating all of us...staff ot manager not aware of pricing for the kids when we make the reservation they told us 5yrs old below is free when we arrive they told us 3yrs old below are free so confusing....place is ok but not that good compare to other hotels that offer buffet like cafe ilang ilang and spiral which price will be the same if their promo is done. Going back???? We should think thrice not twice but thrice...1st big problem is the parking...2nd food choices if complete today no peking ducks, brocolli etc...3rd seating arrangement is a mess the table given to us is also given to other customer so means ...
Read moreThis buffet takes the cake (literally and figuratively). We called them to reserve a 6pm dinner buffet. You also have the option to choose whether you want to dine on the ground floor or the first floor. We opted for the ground floor since that's where the food is located. We arrived at the location 30 minutes before dinner.
The food was surprisingly great! I never thought I would like food served in an unlimited buffet. I've tried a lot of them, and believe me, they were all meh. But this one is an exception.
The highlight for me was the roasting section. They served lechon (with the oh-so-delicious skin), roasted chicken, roasted pork, lechon kawali, and I think something like a Hainanese chicken. You can request the roast beef at the counter behind the roastery display. It was melt-in-your-mouth good.
They also have a pasta section, a sushi/sashimi area, dim sum, seafood (crabs, shrimps, scallops), and desserts. Speaking of desserts, I think their upside-down pineapple cake is low-key the best in town. It's soft and pillowy, and you can really taste the saccharine pineapple. The texture is very hard to describe, but in a positive way. You'll know once you've tried it. I had seconds of the cake. It was that good.
Overall, the food was great. The cleanliness was a 10, and the service was impeccable. Every morsel is worth the visit (or in my case, the pineapple...
Read moreEntrance: Upon entering the premises, there's an unpleasant smell in the lobby. I think it's garbage or sewage because the area is near the bay. It smells like rotten fish.
Experience: I went there with my friends, we are 6 adults and 2 kids. 4 of adults and 1 kid had diarrhea the next day. Thankfully it was not severe but it's frustrating. 🤦♀️
Buffet: I found a small cockroach crawling into the sweet and sour chafing dish. 🥲 Lechon has chewy skin. 😔 Food is mostly bland and not appetizing. We barely ate.
Ambiance: Not that pleasing. The air-conditioning is not working properly. The place where we sat wasn't that cool. The electricity went out like three times. The room totally went black while we were getting some food and it took a while before it came back (about 1 to 2 mins). No back up power. 🤦♀️
Price: Dinner - 899 to 1,000+ per person. Kids are free.
Parking: It's a paid parking but the area is rough road (mud and rocks and garbage). Also it's far from the parking space to hotel entrance.
Overall: Not coming back. Bad experience
