Ok so I was too lazy to pick my own seafood so I just went with the menu options and asked the waitstaff to just please pick me some nice seafood. I wasn't disappointed. They chose some really nice ones. Thanks so much!

Steamed shrimp was fresh and sweet, but the dipping sauce could've used more flavor.

Butter garlic crab was just yum, the sauce is a bit thicker and more flour-y than I'm used to but on hot plain rice it's not bad.

Tausi clams could used a bit more heat but otherwise fantastic.

Didn't really feel short changed, whether it's portion, quality or taste. It's not and expectations are about at par with the price, I recommend the larger savings and eating in bigger groups for maximum value.

Service can be a little slow, I ordered coke zero twice and coke came both times. Also they have this annoying band that serenade you will you eat hoping for tips. If I wanted to be watched while eating I would've started a...

ココ絶対オススメ!

Pleasant atmosphere but expensive restaurant at Seascape. We made a reservation for a table by the bay (thankfully it was roofed because it started to drizzle) and they held it for 15 minutes before giving it to another customer on the waiting list. They also have indoor seating and is much closer to the toilet.

As with all restaurants in the building, their chef could cook the seafood you bought from the wet market in the way you request it to be cooked, as well as omakase style. The dishes did not disappoint.

We were offered a high chair for our toddler and they sanitized it without being prompted.

Some of the staff could be speak Japanese so it was entertaining for my foreign husband. The experience of picking your food at the market is fun for Japanese people so he enjoyed it very much and recommends to fellow...

As with prior paluto experiences, when you add the cost of items bought from the nearby market + the cooking charges, u end up spending more per head compared to going to a buffet (e.g. Vikings). Yes, you get to satisfy your yearning for seafoods like crabs and scallops (which are not always available at Vikings). The ambiance in this resto is terrible. There are people noisily hauling a huge equipment (freezer?) from the back kitchen, passing through the main dining area (which they should have done while the place is closed). Except for one guy who I think is the manager, all other staff we dealt with were not warm. They looked tired and harassed. . Cooking took so loooong even if there were only a few of us dining that time. Definitely not worth the money. Will...

Once you are inside Seascape village, it's hard not to notice Mazu. From my observation, they are one of the biggest, if not the biggest restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining with a good view of the bay and stage. Unfortunately we went here during lunchtime when both sunset and stage performances have not yet started. As for the food, they exceeded my expectations. We ordered Prawn tempura, Halaan soup Chinese style, and Fried Mango Lapulapu. Of the three, I definitely enjoyed Lapulapu the most. The fish tasted fresh and the sweetness of the mango was a perfect match. The tempura was crispy outside while the prawn was tender and perfectly cooked inside. The soup was refreshing with lots of clams and ginger. Hats off to the chef!

The service can be bad at times, with no waiters to bring a group of 5 to a seaside table, or to give us menus. We had to wait a while for them to bring us water, with a wait time of 20 minutes for them to bring some of our orders to the table and 40 minutes to complete our meal, with no dessert yet. Despite this, the food was largely exemplary. Beef tenderloin, prawn tempura, and squid were our favorites, and the first dishes to be finished. The spices on the minced pork roll and the cheese on the baked scallops were a bit much, may not be for everyone. Altogether Mazu a good place to get food, but maybe as delivery or catering.
