Cataquis Lodge is on a smaller, quieter beach separated from the rest of Sabang Beach by a small hill. it's still only a 7-minute walk to the 'center of the action.' I found my front-row bungalow (600 pesos) simply charming, totally no frills -- as it should be. The food and the service were the same as in other lodgings in Sabang -- or other budget beach resorts in Southeast Asia. But if I stayed in Sabang again, I'd choose the same lodge again, for its peaceful surroundings, less foot traffic, and better swimming...
