A basic but decent guesthouse in the heart of San Juan. If you are not looking for luxury, this is your place!
Owners: nice people, willing to help. We contacted them through WhatsApp and the communication was easy.
Room: it was not big, but it was enough. We had a double bed with a single bed on top. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable, but manageable. There was a table that we could eat and work a bit. There is a big sink outside the bathroom, which is good to wash the dishes that they provide. The shower is separated from the toilet (which is great and rare in the country). However the water pressure from the shower was not good. Location: for us, this is the best location in San Juan. You are two blocks away from the beach (although we recommend walking 1,5km to the right so you will find one of the best beaches in the Philippines), and you have everything close to you, walking distance: restaurants (fancy and local ones), markets, bakery, motorbike rentals etc.
The internet worked good, even inside the room.
They provide water for refills.
We had a kettle upon request.

Just manage expectations - they don't have generators and brownout is a recent issue the island is facing as of writing. Also, since it is beside the main road in San Juan, you can hear the noise of vehicles any...

The staff lady was not at all friendly, only the...
