I'm giving it 2 stars because I'm trying to be nice but otherwise I would give 1 star... This is no where near "Italian Restaurant" it shouldn't even be called one in the first place as it misguides people who actually want to try real Italian food. The pizza crust was just basic crust that even any cheap unpopular pizza places in London makes it better. It is far off from italian, tasted like they also used some Filipino tomato sauce for spaghetti or some ketchup instead actual tomato sauce, the sausages "pepperoni" looked and tasted more like a sausage of spam than a pepperoni. Same with the Arrabiata, tasted bitter and sour and again like Filipino tomato sauce, the Filipino sauce it's not bad but it shouldn't be used on a pizza or Italian Arrabiata. Tiramisu was dense and tasted more like mango float without mangoes... Oh wait they added mangoes on the side... It wasn't bad but it wasn't tiramisu. The owner didn't seem really welcoming either, why would you open an Italian restaurant if you don't care neither about your food or your customers?? The only nice part was the staff/waitress, as all around in Philippines, nice and welcoming. If you planning to eat here please bear in mind that's not authentic Italian food and it will make you sad. If you never ate real Italian food maybe you will be ok with it but for the price I feel like you will eat better in some shops by the road with cheap food that has better taste and price. It's a big no from me, really surprised by the reviews 4.2 stars are you kidding me ? It was a big trap and disappointment for us and...

Our visits to Marco Polo Restaurant in Siquijor were nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for a delightful dining experience. The restaurant's charming ambiance, combined with the stunning beach view, created a serene and relaxing vibe that made our meals even more enjoyable.

We ordered their vegetarian pizza, which was absolutely delicious – perfectly crisp with a generous amount of fresh toppings. It paired wonderfully with their creamy latte, making for a delightful combination. The food was prepared with great attention to detail, and the flavors were simply outstanding.

What truly stood out was the service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt at home, offering prompt and friendly service with genuine smiles. They were knowledgeable about the menu and made us feel truly cared for.

Marco Polo Restaurant is a must-visit when in Siquijor. With its mouthwatering food, cozy atmosphere, and breathtaking beach view, it’s the perfect spot to relax and indulge. We’re already looking forward to coming back on...

What one white guy (who according to the staff is a brother of the owner) did last night to us was so RUDE.

I've been a loyal customer of Marco Polo Restaurant (even wayback years ago) coz I like the sea view of the restaurant while eating pizza. Some of the staff knew me already and sometimes I even jz called them to order ahead.

However last night was a total DISAPPOINTMENT. We sitted at the second long table from the entrance. Staff gave us the menu. When we're about to order, one white guy rudely got our menu back and told us something that he won't serve us food and we can't order. I was totally confused and thought he's joking. So I did a sign language to the staff as who he is and staff responded that he is the brother of the owner.

There were customers on the other end of the restaurant. It was me, my son, and my husband. Though I'm just a single customer and not a loss of the restaurant but to be treated like that is very DISRESPECTFUL from a supposedly considered one of the good restaurant...

Sorry but this is not anywhere near Italian food. If you are American over 30 you will remember school 🍕 and I will tell you the pizza here tastes exactly like elementary school cardboard pizza. Also decided to give Penne Formaggi pasta a taste and frankly to us it takes like quick melt cheese. Not anywhere near quality real Italian cheeses. Maybe the owners will look to improve once the tourist situation improves but currently there are tons of Europeans on Siquijor so besides the past I don’t find any Covid excuse valid anymore. Suggest you go to Dolce Amore if you want a good pasta or pizza in the Philippines. I be only given two stars based on the vibe not the food, only eating it because we are starving.
