Southward, just after the Mendez-Tagaytay crossing, behind a Jollibee standalone branch.||Hotel parking is adjacent to the fastfood drive through lane. Expect the lot to get filled if more than 20 visitors come with their vehicles.||The hotel has a small entrance to the right of the building. It opens up to a spacious lobby and reception area.||Room rates range from 2000php all the way to 6000php.||The 2000php option had two single beds, with soft, clean, comfy beddings. One might wish there were two pillows per bed but fold the one available and you're good. Toiletries, and breakfast for two included. There was adequate supply of water and the shower heater was working properly. ||Amenities include a dresser and 1 meter wide 2.5 meter tall closet; breakfast table and chairs for two, 18 inch TV. No thermos or free bottled, or mini-bar. The AC kept the room chilly all night but it was silent and could hardly be heard while it operated.||Wifi was not fully functional and mobile data does not work in the inner rooms, which is what we had. Forget surfing or sending updates if you're in one of these rooms. Better go to the dining hall at the 4rth floor, where the signal was lots better. A gym is available but not sure if the equipment are in top condition.||The place has its own walkway bridge to Jollibee in case you're ready for some fastfood.||Staff are friendly and eager to help. They served the free breakfast tapsilog, watermelon and coffee, with a smile.||Overall, not too posh nor very low end, just good place to stay for those who wish to have a good...
Read moreThe location of Tagaytay Haven is perfect. There's a Savemore supermarket, 711 and Mercury drug walking distance from the hotel. Jollibee is located just in front of the hotel and there's a bridge at the second floor connected to Jollibee. There's plenty of parking space. We got the deluxe room for P2800. We choose the smoking room because my husband and I smokes. We ask for an ashtray from the front desk but they don't have one. At the balcony we found a pale filled with cigarette butts so we figured that's their ashtray. Lol. The tiles of the balcony needs to be cleaned, the rusty tables and chairs I think needs to be replaced. The bathroom is neat but the rusty shower, bidet and sink same as the tiles needs to be replaced as well. Don't expect too much from the room because it's so plain. It doesn't have a mini refrigerator, no free bottled water, wifi access is only available at the lobby, no kitchen facilities like utensils or coffeemaker/electric kettle though I know that the amenities that I mentioned varies each hotel (now I know why the lady at the front desk did not answer me when I ask her about amenities because there's none, first I thought she didn't hear me.) but knowing that there are plenty of fancy hotels nearby they would want to stand out so guests will choose...
Read moreIf you want to save a lot in hotel expense but still want to have a decent clean room, then I recommend this place. The staff were very courteous and very accomodating to us. All our requests and needs were properly attended. But do not expect too much on their amenities. The place is dark coz the hallway is lighted by dim lights but we do not encounter any problem with that coz our itinerary was mostly touring Tagaytay and Cavite. We only rented the place to sleep, swim in their pool and relax when we were tired. They do not have TV cable just local channels and they do not have complimentary bottled water. Didn't rant about it coz our children enjoyed the tub and the jacuzzi. Breakfast is ok. We stayed for 2 nights and paid only half or less of what we will pay when we book in a 5 or 4 star hotels. The money we saved were diverted...
