This is a quite place that you can have good conversations with families and friends. There is an enclosed dining area which I estimate can fit between 10-15 pax sitting; outside the enclosed dining area there are several tables if you want to have an outdoorsy kind of dining. The restaurant also offers bed and breakfast; but they can only accommodate two (2) rooms. Parking is kind of limited around 3-5 cars; otherwise, you can park your car at the street.
We went there for a very late lunch; the weather was quite cool as the weather is mostly cloudy with some occasional light rain and a cool breeze of wind.
The food is quite good as we remembered a couple of years ago. The Aozora Rame (Bulalo inspired rame) is very good and tasteful in our opinion. The Dragon Maki (Edi Tempura) is also good and the servings is around 7-8 pieces and it’s fried. We also ordered Salmon Sushi, Ebi Tempura, Tofu Steak and Wagyu Fried Rice.
Overall, our dining experience I would rate it as 5 stars based on Google Maps rating system. The staff are very attentive and able to answer to our needs or inquiry. The bed and breakfast are very good for those who wants to stay overnight in Tagaytay. The location is within Tagaytay city; just search and click the restaurant in google maps and the app will give you directions to go Aozora Japanese...
Read moreWent here on a Monday night for an early dinner. The place looks ok, but also felt something is missing. I almost feel that there pandemic has affected this place hard. The lettuce garden at the back is really nice and very peaceful to look at. The Wagyu rice and Wagyu Saikoro Steak is a bit of a disappointment. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the meat is harder than the Wagyu cubes I tried before. Maybe it was overcooked. Ebi Tempura tasted like something is missing. This includes the Tempura sauce. Miso soup is good, not that salty. The chicken teriyaki and the maguro sashimi was really great. I recommend this to. Chicken teriyaki is not too sweet. The maguro sashimi is of good quality and not frozen. It's going to be a difficult decision if we will...

Food is topnotch, my fave is the grilled tuna which tasted really clean and fresh on the palate yet very flavorful. Amazing.
The ambience feels like you're really in Japan. It's understated and subdued but very cozy.
If anything, I just feel like the staff just needs more training on customer service. They weren't rude or anything but they're very chatty even within the customer's earshot. It's a little...
