The staff: Catarina was the person that I saw. She was incredible and helped me out and answered all my questions . Her English is very good. She and her staff provided sumptuous breakfasts and on my request delivered the night before. On the last night, which was a Saturday , I didn’t get my next morning breakfast by 9:25 pm. I messaged this guesthouse after like 10 pm. Joana replied right away and she promised to have my breakfast before 8 am. She delivered as promised . The staff really tried hard to please the guests. The room : so big and beautiful with windows in two directions. A large round table for my breakfast and meals. A microwave oven, a small fridge and coffee machine. Breakfast: Best of the best with lots of choices. WiFi : worked great. Shower: Hot and furious:) The common kitchen: Is enormous with napkins, silverware, cookware and even filtered water dispenser
Summary : Highly recommended
Location : For me, the hotel on the other side , the opposite side from the bus station is a bit far . It is better to take a taxi and there are always a few taxi there. But going back to the bus station , you will need to call one or ask the hotel staff for help. This however is not a big issue as the distance is only 1.1 mile There was so party going on the first night after 11 pm but I was too tired to be bothered by it. The other 4 nights...

Miguel gave us a great dinner recommendation for a local experience, be sure to ask for recommendations upon check-in. We also loved the focus on sustainability throughout! ||||If it wasn't clear yet, we could not recommend this guesthouse...
Read moreBeautiful, clean and comfortable guesthouse to spend the night in the city of Evora for sure.
Aesthetic wise, everything is pristine. However, some practical details made the stay slightly less enjoyable:
The toilet may look pristine, however in the shower, it is quite slippery (even for myself as a young individual). I can only imagine it will pose a major safety hazard for the elderly guests.
The shower drainage cover is broken but conveniently just placed where it is supposed to be. When showering, the drainage cover just slides around the shower casually.
1 star deducted from my review due to these 2 gripes. otherwise, it is a great place to...
