It was a joy on our way back home from Valencia to visit Três Marmelos in Évora, the capital of Alentejo.
It is run by three friends who do everything: cook, wait on - everything.
The food was world class and I don’t use that term lightly. We have traveled extensively and eaten in many a fine establishment.
The dishes have very interesting combinations with taste sensations I have never experienced before.
I won’t go into detail as the only way to truly appreciate the excellence is to try it yourself. The menus rotate and can’t wait to return.
The wines are also sensational and the prices very reasonable considering the quality.
