Pros: view of the ocean surrounded by cliffs. Good french fries. They have ketchup which was hard to find in most seafood restaurants. Kid friendly Cons: horrible food and expensive (which is good if the food was amazing). You are only paying for the view - worst service in Lisbon-the bread and butter/sardine pate/olive which is approx 2 euros per person had stale bread, hard refrigerated butter and prepackaged pate (like the containers in which jam comes in). The house wine was pure vinegar. The shrimp cocktail was doused in ketchup mayo mixture (as seen in pic below) where u cant even see the shrimp. While ordering, half the things were "not available" in which the young male waitor looked around annoyed we chose something that wasnt available. The bread took 30 mins to receive. Prepare to spend a min of 50 to 75 euros per person for a basic meal. The children around us loved their meals of hot dogs and hamburgers. As well you will need rsvp for a good view of the ocean as the tables around the patio edge are...
Read moreReally good food and view. But there's something with the personnel, they are all super stressed, even with the place not so busy. It's unfair to blame anyone specifically, it's a behavior that most likely comes from above (management). From the time you ask for a table, then the waiters running around almost pushing you, then they are impatient to take the order, and the lady was super rude when we asked for the Wi-Fi details. Again, no pointing fingers at anyone specifically. It's a working environment problem where probably even a nice person enters this kind of mood.
All in all, I still recommend the place for the food and view. I hope this message helps them treating people better. It's far from the typical hospitality you find in Portugal.
PS: I've added a photo of the Wi-Fi password so you don't have to "disturb" anyone...
Read moreI have booked this restaurant for dinner on May 11th for 13 people (3 family with kids) and had to make a payment of €390 to hold the booking. Unfortunately on May 11 morning I had to cancel and called the restaurant. They told me that i could cancel but they would have kept 25 € as credit card fees! I didn't have a choice and I have accepted. Later, through my credit card report, I saw that they charged me € 48 !! This is totally unacceptable. I have written them two messages and no answer, in addition to two phone calls, one unanswered and another one with someone who didn't speak English. Regardless of how good the food is in this place, this type of behavior is totally wrong and I wanted to warn any Trip Advisors readers to refrain from giving your credit card details to...
