I didn’t expect any other kind of response, because you clearly don’t care about the conditions your guests live in. When I first arrived, I couldn’t possibly predict that the place would be stuffy and that there would be loud noise right under the window all night — I don’t have the gift of seeing the future. However, I did notice the dirty towels and the fact that the water in the shower tray hardly drains — but only late in the evening, after a long and exhausting walk.

The dirty walls and peeling paint speak volumes about the level of your concern for guests. I published my comment to warn potential visitors to be cautious and not to ruin their trip the way mine was ruined.

And here’s a direct question to the manager of this establishment: if you had other available rooms with better conditions, why did you place me in one where you knew there were problems?

I’m convinced there’s only one explanation — you don’t care about your guests’ comfort.

I’m not someone who enjoys writing bad reviews, but in this case, I simply couldn’t stay silent.

My recommendation: STAY AWAY from this place.

Echt een top appartementje voor je vakantie in Lissabon. Wij hebben hier een week verbleven. Het ligt wel wat buiten de stad en je moet met de pont naar de overkant, of met de Uber via de brug, maar de omgeving is heel rustig en fijn om te verblijven. Je bent binnen 20 minuten afdalen bij de pont, en kunt in het dorp/stadje ook heel leuk uit eten gaan. De kamer die wij hadden was niet heel groot, maar daardoor heel knus én we hadden een balkon met lekkere stoeltjes. De oven + koelkast en vriezer werkte perfect, de douche was heerlijk. We hadden geen airco maar een ventilator, maar voor ons was dat prima. Als je savonds de deuren open zet lucht het meteen weer door. De host was goed te bereiken en bij vragen...
