Nordic Tavern — Restaurant in Almada

I've lived in Denmark and spent a lot of time in Scandinavia and haven't come across a bar like this. It's so unique, everything from the owner to the music. If you're in the area, even just for a day I couldn't recommend a bar more highly than this one - It's perfect in every way.

There's a large terraced area in the middle of the street which boasts a great view and exposure to the beautiful weather.

The music was really awesome, like some kind of viking rock music mixed with folk. Is highly recommend to try the mead there, it was a first for me and I'm very glad I tried it. It is quite sweet as it's made using honey so be prepared for that (nothing like beer), however once your brain accepts that sweetness it just trickles down easily..
