We had an amazing dinner at Amarra Ó Tejo in Lisbon, and it’s a total hidden gem! The food was fantastic from start to finish. We kicked things off with carpaccio and shrimp starters, both fresh and delicious. For mains, the squid, seabass with curry sauce, and beef were all perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. Honestly, every dish was a hit. The view from the top of the mountain overlooking the bay and Lisbon? Absolutely breathtaking, especially as the city lights came on.

What’s wild is that while people are lining up for hours at the restaurants down by the water, there was no wait at all here. We walked right in and got a prime spot. Hidden gem verified. Very good food. Most tender octopus and excellent pairing of fried sea bass with the pickled vegetables. The sea-view from the glass window at sunset looks amazing. We had a very good meal. Waiting time was short unlike what the other reviewers said. Excellent service. Friendly waiter happy to chat. Fui jantar no dia 28/02/2024 e amei o serviço, ambiente e a comida. Pedi um polvo à lagareiro e estava maravilhoso! O ponto do polvo, o sabor, realmente muito bom! Meu namorado pediu a garoupa com crosta e também estava divina! Só achamos esse prato um pouco menor que o outro, talvez fosse interessante ter mais uma posta do peixe. . Achei intrigante só estarmos nós dois no restaurante. Mas depois me lembrei que o mesmo não possui Instagram e isso deve dificultar muito a divulgação. Conversando com o garçom, perguntamos se costuma ter algum tipo de evento, e para nossa surpresa, fomos informados que tem e inclusive o ano novo. Ficamos empolgados para irmos, pois deve ser lindo assistirmos a queima de fogos de lá, pois a vista é linda! Para chegar até lá, é um pouco difícil pois não tem muitos locais para estacionar. Talvez seja melhor ir de Uber. . A intenção desse comentário aqui é fazer com que mais pessoas conheçam o lugar e também alertar a gerência para ter uma conta no Instagram e bem administrada. Pois nós fomos porque morei na região e já conhecia. Mas não há divulgação de nada, o restaurante sobrevive de pesquisas aqui no Google ou indicações. Sem divulgação, as pessoas não conseguem saber sobre essas datas de eventos, por exemplo, o que é muito ruim para o futuro do estabelecimento.
