My stay at the Holiday Inn Beja was an unforgettable experience, marked by a perfect combination of art, culture and hospitality. Upon arrival, I was surprised by the beautiful panels by Vhils on the main facade of the hotel, which pay homage to two great Alentejo poets “Florbela Espanca and Mário Beirão”. These works of art, in addition to being a tribute to the rich local culture, add a unique and inspiring touch to the hotel's environment.
The hotel's interior also reflects the essence of Alentejo, with decorative details that refer to the region, creating a welcoming and authentic atmosphere. Attention to detail is evident in every corner, from the furniture to the artistic elements that make up the common spaces.
The gastronomic offer was another highlight of my stay. The “O Chaparro” restaurant offers a delicious culinary experience, with dishes that capture the typical flavors of Alentejo. Each meal was a true celebration of regional cuisine, with fresh ingredients and impeccable presentation.
Finally, I would like to highlight the exceptional service provided by each member of the hotel team. From the Reception to the Pool Roof Bar, EVERYONE was extremely attentive, helpful and always ready to ensure that my stay was the best possible.
The Holiday Inn Beja is, without a doubt, an excellent choice for those who want to immerse themselves in Alentejo culture, with the comfort and quality that only a hotel of this level can offer. I recommend it to everyone looking for an experience rich in art, gastronomy and hospitality. Many successes to all...
Read moreIn general, the hotel is new and modern, the rooms are large and spacious, where it was easy and comfortable for our whole family. However, why, knowing that you are expecting a guest with a child at 9 p.m., his bed was not ready, although it is a stretch to call it a bed. It seems that IHG is not interested in families at all, since even in a room of 30+ square meters there are no conditions for a child to sleep comfortably. The sofa consists of several parts that are constantly moving apart and the child falls into these holes at night. Why can't you use a mattress of the minimum thickness on which it will be comfortable to sleep? This is a problem not only for this hotel, this is a problem for all IHG hotels lately, the child has grown up, but there is still no comfort for him. I cannot put him in a separate room, he himself does not want it. And what should I do? Now about my preferences, why are they indicated in my profile, if I have never been put on a high floor, far from the elevator and with a view of a quiet street or courtyard. And I'm a gold member of the loyalty program, so what do you do with regular visitors who are staying at IHG for...
Read moreWe stayed for 2 nights at this outstanding hotel and couldn’t be happier. We were warmly welcomed at the front desk — a special mention goes to Mr. Tiago (I believe that was his name), who was incredibly polite, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. I’ve never had such a great greeting at any hotel before!||In fact, every single staff member we met was kind, attentive, and eager to help. The rooftop pool is a must-visit — the view is beautiful, and it’s the perfect place to watch the sunset.||Our room far exceeded my expectations: spotless, comfortable, and equipped with all the amenities you could possibly need. The location is excellent too, just a short walk to the castle, which made exploring the area so easy.||I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting — I’m already looking forward to...
