The food here is a delicious blend of Portuguese and Indian, so definitely try it out. We went to the Indian Restaurant located at the Pensao Bela Figueira, it was November so was off season. This is the only Indian restaurant open out of season. Well what a surprise, this is a small restaurant but the hosts and the food was brilliant ( and it sells Cobra beer). I don't know why it is not listed on Tripadvisor. The Indian meal we had was the best we have had in Portugal to date and better than some we have had in the UK. Very cheap hotel and that is what you get. The old guy at the reception didn't speak one word of English and we could manage only with Google translator. The hotel is in very bad shape... The bed even though was in OK condition and for just sleeping there one night it was acceptable, but I cannot recommend that place at all.
