I stayed at city lofts Lisbon, Dani was lovely but on my last night and day another lady with brown hair was working.. I had my drink poisoned and I woke up In a serious state, it was not a normal hang over but a spiking.. I could not stand up , I started to throw up and was extremely dizzy.. In this moment , a few minutes to noon the brown haired lady came to my door banging that i must get out ..I informed her I was seriously Ill and throwing up and she demand me to get out the room even though I could not stand up let alone pack my belongings … I needed urgent medical attention and instead of offer any help at all she came with in minutes to throw me out the room.. I threw my stuff in my case barely able to walk or to understand how to use my phone and crawled to the bathroom where i collapse and passed out ,… I tried to call out for help once I awoke and i proceeded to vomit.. the lady was hovering the room next door and could hear me struggling … she did not once ask me how I was or offer to call medical assistant … once I made it out the bathroom I tried to approach her in one of the rooms , she was standing with a man… she kept herself behind the door … I explained how unwell I was I needed somewhere to rest or sit could they help and they simply said no and ignored me… at this point I felt extremely afraid i managed to unlock my phone and call an Uber although I struggled to be able to think.. the Uber took me immediately to medical care and seen by 2 paramedics …. And then the police … this was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel … especially as a woman alone . I am still shocked and disturbed that there was no reaction from the woman with brown hair who was never friendly during her shift and I’m grateful that it wasn’t more serious as I’m sure the woman would have left me for dead. I think they should be closed down for health and safety reasons as it’s not a safe place to stay . I understand they needed the room back but to show absolutely no human side or to offer to call medical help when i clearly was unable to move and collapsing is to me...
Read moreI stayed here for several nights in a room (nr24) with a small balcony overlooking the street and it was absolutely wonderful. The room was spacious, bright, super clean and so pretty. I was very comfortable and slept like a princess. The bathroom was just opposite my room and it was very modern and clean. Despite it being a shared bathroom this was never an issue, it felt more like having an en suite bathroom. I think this hotel is a real gem and I will definitely try to stay there next time I'm in Lisbon. The hotel is located at the top floor (with a lift) of a beautiful old property with high ceilings and lots of charming features. Inside everything was very clean and pretty. The best thing about my stay was the communication with the friendly reception staff and the owner. Not only did they offer me great recommendations of local restaurants and cafés - they also answered any other questions I had very quickly. Also, they helped with storing my luggage after checkout since I had a late flight which was very helpful. The location is close to Santos station and only a 10 min walk from Cais do Sodré. I highly recommend staying here, not only is it good value for money but it is also very clean...
Read moreVery easy to locate in Bolt/Uber from the airport and well situated for a walk to the green and pink streets and by the river where you can see the Jesus statue. We only stayed one night but were warmly welcomed and showed around. There is a shared breakfast room where you can make food in the microwave and there's a kettle with teabags and coffee. The beds were super comfy, there was a room fan (essential as it was boiling bot) and towels are provided too. There are shared bathrooms - four - but it sounds like 2 are a nuisance with having to wait 5-10 mins for hot water to come through. We used the other 2 nearer our room. It was really stylishly designed in the corridors and room itself. I would definitely recommend for an inexpensive overnight stay in Lisbon even if, like me, the thought of a shared bathroom doesn't appeal - this was spotlessly clean, so no...
