Gelato Davvero — Restaurant in Lisbon

Dear Davvero! I love your gelato, you are the best in the whole world! I’ve been coming to eat it for 5 years already so often and always bring all my friends there. And the guys working there are always so nice! But today - 30.03.25 in the evening, - we were so disappointed 😢 The woman on the counter was soooo unpleasant and very rude. She was putting our gelato on like if we did something wrong 🥺 No hello, no “here it is, goodbye”. And my portion of medium size was the smallest ever! Never ever I’ve been made such a small portion of gelato here. It barely reached the top of the cup, tho usually it is twice bigger. That was very sad to get. And with all the attitude that was a very bad experience (we all noticed that, it wasn’t just me). Honestly, if it was my first visit, with the attitude like that it would be my last one 😔 This woman shouldn’t work with people - for sure. The guy working with her that evening wasn’t the nicest one as well. There was a dog of some client who came in to pick gelato. And while he was picking, the guy grabbed the dog (quite rude) and without asking the guests whose dog was that, just took the dog outside. The man only saw it when the guy was asking loudly all the people passing by if it was their dog. That was weird and unprofessional. 100000000% the BEST gelato in all of Lisbon. My friends and I stumbled upon this place by chance on holiday and we got so so lucky. We tried many other gelato places but this place was the real deal!!

They had a variety of flavours to choose from, because we were in Lisbon, I mainly picked the Pastel de Nata flavour - which was extremely delicious. But depending on your choice of scoops (1,2,3 or more) - you can select more than one flavour of your choosing.

After you’re done you can decide to eat your gelato as take away or eat in. There are plenty of places to sit inside and they have a few arcade games in the gelato shop as well.

We were here today, 30.03.2025 at around 14:00. We asked if it was possible to try the ice cream flavors first. The dark-skinned female employee gave us the tiniest samples so that it was barely possible to taste the ice cream. If we had tasted the flavours properly, we might have ordered them, but we stuck with the 1-2 ice cream flavors we already knew.

When we then ordered ice cream cups, she didn't fill them up properly at all, instead there were complete empty spaces left in the cups. She was totally stingy with the ice cream.

We wouldn't come back because of her. We recommend everyone to go to Giola Gelato, Nannarella or Niva instead. You get much more ice cream, which tastes at least as good there for...
