In reference to the other one star review, they list checking in between 1500 and 1900 but you do have to book your anticipated time of arrival as the owner is not onsite. This is made very clear in the booking confirmation email and we were also rung earlier that day to check the time was still ok.||It is in a nice quiet neighbourhood and looks just like any other house from the outside apart from the tourist board logo on the wall.We arrived as planned, at 1800 and the owners representative was there a couple of minutes later. Polite with excellent English, she carefully showed us around the house and made sure we knew all we needed to know. The house is very clean and comfortable with excellent mattress, towels, toiletries and bottled water in our room. No problem for us to check out very early for our flight. Lots of nice places to eat within a ten minute walk.|It’s a 15-20 minute walk to the airport or 7 minute walk to the encarnacao metro then one stop and you are at the airport. Lots of buses nearby too. ||Much cheaper than the on airport hotels! Would definitely stay here again. If it had ensuite rather than a separate bathroom then I would have...

The owner of the Guest house kicked me out of the kitchen at 12pm. I appreciate the check out was early at 11am. I left the key but needed to wait 2 hours to take my flight, the owner came and asked me to leave, saying the kitchen needed to be cleaned. I asked if I could move to the living room and he said no, that I needed to leave immediately. I even suggested to pay to stay another night in order to use the shared areas and he said that was not possible. The worst...
