Lisbon Hostel Terminal 3 — Hotel in Lisbon

I was slightly worried given the recent Google reviews, but decided to risk it. Smooth sailing and I highly recommend it.

After booking, the property sent me an Online Checkin message, I clicked the link and filled out the form. At the end of that form I paid the €4 city tax. Once I submitted the form and paid the tax, they sent me full instructions and the door code. You can arrive at any time, use the door code and make yourself at home. It doesn't look great from the outside as it's a cheap residential area (who wants to live next to the airport?) but it looks much better inside.

Nicely decorated and clean. Fully furnished kitchen and living room. One bathroom for the eight bunk beds in both bedrooms. I stayed in bedroom 1 which was simple but had small cupboards for each person and A/C, space for four people (two bunk beds), eight working power plugs around the bottom bunks (none at hand for the top bunks though). I walked 20min from the airport, felt safe enough. I feel it's really good...

I was originally booked at a hostel that gave me a bad feeling. I started calling around to other hostels to find somewhere else to stay and while talking with Clara, I started crying and told her that something didn’t seem right with the place I had booked. She woke her husband up and they came and got me and drove me to an ATM and made sure I was alright. Words cannot describe how scared I was and how thankful I am for their kindness to come pick a crying stranger up from a situation that was frightening (to me at least). To anyone reading this, you will not find a nicer couple of people or a cozier hostel near the airport. All in all, what could have been a frightening end to my Lisbon trip turned into a great story that demonstrates the kindness of the Portuguese people and I hope that if I ever get to Lisbon again, they have an available bunk for...

Well... what to say... Breakfast promised, but nothing to be found... Kids corner with boardgames promised, but nothing to be found... You have to be lucky with your co-guests, because 1 sink, 1 shower, 1 toilet and a small livingroom for everybody.... We slept surprisingly "okay"... the beds queeck with every move thou... Not very clean. The good thing of this hostel is that it is close to the airport. We enjoyed the coffee. The market is in front, but the entrance code is a mystery - if it will work or not - and doubt if your luggage is safe inside..... The lady is not answering phonecalls and nobody at the house for...
