First of all, the name Lisbon Airport Suites is really confusing. What you expect looking at these pictures is a comfortable, modern apartment hotel. What you get is a room in a hard to find, old, tall and smelly apartment building in Lissbon residential area. Not even close to apart hotel, airport either.||||On the way to the accomodations we received a message from a chat bot, asking to register and pay the tax before hand. The message asked us to call when we are at the door, so we can enter the building.||||When we arrived we had to take a long time to find a parking place, as the district is a residential are, no parking places around. Then we needed to drag our suitcases up the stair to the door. All that to have no answer on the phone and not being able to enter the building. ||||Out in the sun, no shade. 30+ degrees with kids I had to dial the number and message the property for a long time. Got a bot reply from them. I finally gave up and left.||||Later on the property called. I asked for the refund and required to cancel the booking. I did not get the refund. The property ignored my messages further on.||||Thus, if you do not want to get scammed - pick another location. ||||PS My mistake was not to call Booking.com the same day. I was trying to solve the problem directly with the accomodation. Later on they talked to the property...

And very rude manners too. ||||They refused to check me in because my plane had a delay. Room was pre-paid. I even phoned them to inform I was on the plane (a delay of one hour but could be more). A man said me to call him back as I landed. Asked me the flight number so he can follow up on timing using internet.||When I called him back, I was at the airport ready to get in a taxi (just half an hour after midnight, when my check in supposed to be on 11 p.m) he respond me that nobody was in place for check me in. So bye bye. he shut the phone down, saying it was not his business my plan delay. ||||I have been traveling all around the world for many years. Business travels, leisure trips. I enjoyed fancy hotels and even simple B&b running by family members. ||People working on accommodations take care of you and make u feel comfy because you are a welcoming guest and a source of earnings too. ||||Fortunately reading reviews has become very popular and an essential step in travel plan. ||||Hopefully my experience will be useful for someone else to avoid wrong...
Read moreTotal Rip Off! In the first place this is a weird place, renting out rooms in an apartment in an apartment building in the middle of a living area, no sign on the door. We got totally ripped off, by accidently booking this place for one night in ordre to get an early flight. We didn´t see the notice that children are not allowed. So we informed them that our baby is traveling with us and that we share the same bed. They accepted the booking and charged the price. The next day they told us that we cannot stay there with a baby. But they refused to cancel our booking and forced us to do it ourselves. So when we asked to refund our money, they refused too. They charged us a price for a service we never got! Plus we had a lot of inconvenience finding a new place late at night with a tired baby. REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE: We tried everything to ask friendly for our money back. They seem to be only interested in money and business, and have no common sense for people or service!
