Lisbon Garden Flower — Hotel in Lisbon

I would have avoided this facility based on my needs and experience with the private room and toilet we rented. Nonetheless, it is safe, and in a nice area (Campo Grande) of Lisbon. The group consisted of my wife and I, together with our two adult daughters. We needed a place for one night before a flight. Details:

It is inconvenient to get in and out of the room as there are three older style keys needed. The room needs some upkeep. The toilet sink was just way too small. The toilet shelves were small and not level. The bath towels are so small maybe they would dry a young child. The pillows were thin. The room is right beside a main traffic area and since there is no air conditioning (as disclosed), one has to open the windows to let fresh air in but so does the street noise. The property manager was communicative, and there is a friendly, helpful person on site during the day. The price is on the more affordable end for the space and location in Lisbon...

Llegamos a Lisboa a las 20:00, fuimos directamente al supuesto “hotel” y después de caminar 20 minutos para encontrarlo, resultó ser un piso compartido. Ni siquiera había un cartel claro; solo al entrar al edificio dimos con un pequeño letrero. El lugar comparte baño y las habitaciones no son privadas. Tocamos el timbre, pero nadie nos abrió, así que esperamos en la puerta otros 20 minutos. Tras llamar al número de contacto, finalmente nos indicaron dónde estaba la llave.

El sitio es lo más cutre que uno se pueda imaginar. Las puertas chirrían cada vez que alguien entra, el ruido de otros huéspedes es constante y molesto, y cada descarga del baño se escucha claramente. Además, el lugar huele mal y la habitación estaba sucia. Es una auténtica vergüenza que alquilen algo en estas condiciones. No deberían permitir que un sitio así arruine las vacaciones de la gente. ¡Es un engaño y una falta de respeto!

Chegamos de Portugal às 20:00 e fomos direto para o suposto “hotel”. Depois de caminhar 20 minutos para encontrá-lo, descobrimos que era um apartamento compartilhado. Não havia sequer uma placa clara; só percebemos um pequeno letreiro ao entrar no prédio. O local compartilha o banheiro e os quartos não são privados. Tocamos a campainha, mas ninguém atendeu, então esperamos na porta por mais 20 minutos. Depois de ligar para o número de contato, finalmente nos informaram onde estava a chave.

O lugar é o mais precário que se pode imaginar. As portas rangem sempre que alguém entra, o barulho dos outros hóspedes é constante e irritante, e cada descarga do banheiro é claramente audível. Além disso, o local tem um cheiro desagradável e o quarto estava sujo. É uma verdadeira vergonha que aluguem algo nessas condições. Um lugar assim não deveria arruinar as férias das pessoas. É um golpe e uma falta de respeito!

We arrived from Portugal at 8:00 PM and went straight to the so-called “hotel.” After walking for 20 minutes to find it, we discovered it was actually a shared apartment. There wasn’t even a clear sign; we only noticed a small plaque when we entered the building. The place shares a bathroom, and the rooms are not private. We rang the doorbell, but no one answered, so we waited outside for another 20 minutes. After calling the contact number, we were finally told where to find the key.

The place is as shabby as you can imagine. The doors creak whenever someone enters, the noise from other guests is constant and annoying, and you can clearly hear every time someone flushes the toilet. Moreover, the place smells awful, and the room was dirty. It’s a complete disgrace that they rent out something in this condition. A place like this should not be allowed to ruin people’s vacations. We had a reservation for Sept 24th. We had a late flight and took a taxi to the address listed. The building didn’t look like a hotel, no sings indicating it was a hotel and the door was locked. The taxi driver assured us that it was the correct location. There were few door bells by the door but no one answered. The cab driver was getting irritated and I asked him to return us to the airport. I was looking for a phone number in order to contact the hotel but I couldn’t find one.
