BIG HOUSE — Hotel in Póvoa de Varzim

By Far the Best Place we have stayed in Portugal. Our hosts are amazing and have thought of everything to the finest detail. We were greeted with a warm welcome and a glass of red Port wine. We had a wonderful chat with our hosts, Oscar & Pedro and they told us all about the accommodations and the local area. This was one of my favourite moments of our Camino so far. It was my first time staying at Big House in Póvoa and I would definately return if staying in the area again. The hosts were super friendly and welcoming. I stayed in a studio which was immaculately clean and all the facilities one would need were available. The communal areas were also really nice from the living room space downstairs with a lovely fireplace to the rooftop bar and a kitchen with everything you could need. I read amazing reviews before my stay and I can definitely say that they live up to expectations! Within the first five minutes I feel like this is the best place I have stayed on my whole journey! I was greeted with smiles and a glass of port. The accommodation is spotless and the rooms tasteful and there was even two beers, two bottles of water, tea and a hot water boiler in my room all included.
