LivingPorto Apartments by Porto City Hosts — Hotel in Porto

The pictures on the booking platforms are outdated and do not reflect the actual state of the apartment. The stone walls were visibly covered in mold, resulting in extremely poor air quality. There were also traces of mold on the wooden panels near the cupboard. My travel companion, who has asthma and allergies, had a strong reaction. It was simply unpleasant.

We asked for a refund to move somewhere safe, but the manager flat-out refused. The on-site staff were friendly but couldn’t do anything. This stay ruined the first two days of our trip until we booked other accommodations, all of which were spotless. That clearly disproves their claim that “it’s just like that here in Porto because it’s humid.”

I strongly advise avoiding this property for now until they decide to invest some of their money into actually maintaining the place. It’s a health risk, not a holiday. Since Booking.com won‘t let me upload pictures.. I am posting...

Ottimo appartamento, completamente nuovo, finiture di livello e ben arredato. In pieno centro, comodissimo ai servizi, a due passi dalla linea viola della metro per l'aeroporto (250 metri circa), zona tranquilla nonostante la centralità.

Punti negativi: manca la lavatrice per essere al top, il pavimento (molto bello con travetti in legno) scricchiola molto e si sentono distintamente i passi di chi sta sopra. Infine al nostro arrivo l'appartamento sembrava essere stato pulito con troppa sufficienza. Erano presenti infatti molti capelli sul pavimento ma non solo (di cattivo gusto, ma magari siamo stati...
