Was one of the worst, I have stayed in for many years.||I have made the booking with Booking.com but the Owner has called me to cancel with the booking as the rooms for on the website are small and are in the mansion. I believed this and I have cancelled and I booked privately and now I really regret it.||The owners are nice but unfortunately is not a 3-star hotel is more a B&B - the breakfast is very very basic and poor, no access on the terrace after 10 pm and if you want to stay longer the owner comes and asks you how long you will be to make you feel very uncomfortable, no reception desk - I mean is one a someone sitting sofa and watching TV, no coffee if the breakfast finished. ||The rooms are clean but the facility for 3 stars is bellowed basic - no phone service available in-room, no minibar, no mini fridge, no safe, no hairdryer, no bin, no mirror in the room and I have asked the Owner for a room with a mirror and the Owner asked me why do I need one, I laughed, unbelievable answer, why a woman needs a mirror? :)||I have to say that I have clean towels every day but they have a funny smell. ||In the bathroom - no shower accessories like shower gel etc, my advice make sure to take everything that you need with you.||||Realy sorry for this review but I could not be kinder than this, I have stayed in for 5 days and my last day I could not even have a coffee because the coffee machine was not on and of course, being my last day wasn't treated with welcome.||||I will never return here and not recommend, probably if there are no other available hotels...
Read moreUnproffesional from the beggining. When we arrived at the hotel there was nobody at the recception and we waited good 5 minutes since the owner came down. All of his goods as phone, laptop and car keys where on the table, where I waited at him. He didn't give us any receipt, just keys and we headed to the room. It was noticeably after a renovation- it wasn't cleaned well. The window was open when we came in (with a mosquito net- only plus) so we saw dirty window frame, dirty windowsill, dirty radiator and dirty floor. TV was 'cleaned' with the same rag. The wardrobe stands just next to the bed and it is hard to open, but you have to if you want the towels :)||Better things were in the bathroom- swaying toilet, leaking shower and dead moth in the cupboard under the sink.||The widow view is street with trams that made me woke up at 4am because of their wild sounds. It was scary.||Breakfast was a funny experience. First morning the owner was a waiter and we took eggs with bacon for my boyfriend and bread with jam for me. The next day (it was saturday morning) only the staff was at the hotel, and sadly they spoke only romanian. So we were ordering by phone from the owner (the menu card didn't exist) and were told there are only eggs and jam. ||Parking is on the street so keep in mind how romaniam drives, and don't be suprised someone parked their car the way that makes impossible for your car to leave. At least they leave phone number on the window.||We decided for this hotel cause it was a nice looking place on pics at booking, and it also...
Read moreThe location is okay and honestly this is the only good thing I can say about this place. First of all it's not even a hotel, let alone with 3 stars! There are cockroaches in the rooms. The third floor is renovated but the rooms are extremely small and everything looks super cheap. The bathrooms are old and quite dirty. When you're not in the room, the staff goes into the rooms to turn off the air conditioners, I've never seen this anywhere else.
Nobody speaks English in this hotel! We didn't have a mirror in the room which is extremely strange and very uncomfortable. We asked for a mirror and they told us that they won't provide one.
Save yourself the trouble and go to a different hotel, it's not worth even it's...
