Templul Soarelui — Restaurant in Bucharest

We waited more than 40 minutes for the food to come. We were 6 people, it arrived with the portion for 1 and rice for who ordered. Then we waited another 10-15 minutes, time in which the rice got cold and another few plates came. 10 minutes later, they arrived with the last plate.

The pork i ordered was mostly fat and a bit of meat, covered by tons of sauce. The chicken was uncooked for 1 friend ( gong bao) The chicken was uneatable for another due to how much oil it was. My fries gong something were oily as…., it can be visible in the photo.

The only positive aspect were the normal fries. Those were super good. In rest… horrible. The waiters look like they spit in your food.

It is super expensive for what you receive. 40 lei almost a portion of frice. Same price as the chicken. Really? If it was good, i had nothing to say, but it was disgusting

In conclusion, we will never, ever, return here and we recommend you don’t come as well. Horrible...

I am writing this review as im eating, i usually dont review locations but this one was a must. First of all the food is decent, not good not great but decent. The place is a mess and it feels dirty, not only it feels but IT IS. The place and atmosphere is gloomy same as the waiter that took our order. The prices are way too high for the quality it offers. For a soup, pork with sauce and one coke and one beer we paid over 110 Lei.We didnt wait too long for our order to be brought but everything else left a bad taste in our mouth. The afternoon that I spend it with my friend here was very nice (at the beginning we were all alone...in the evening I understand that is more crowded). We served at the beginning a hot spicy soup, a small appetizer (Chinese colts) and after else as an main dish we ordered 3 different plates (with porc, beef and lamb). The food was delicious. The service was nice to. The coffee was ok. I highly recommend the restaurant keep in mind that isn't a Hi class concept. Only the toilets was a little bit disappointed... clean, but a little bit used...
