I stayed here with my partner for two nights, and it was by far the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had.||If you’re looking for a room that reeks of sewage, lacks basic essentials like duvets, and is in desperate need of a deep clean, this is the place for you.||We arrived late in the evening and checked in without issue, but things quickly went downhill. The hallways leading to our room were pitch black, as the motion-sensor lights only activated after you’d already walked past them. Navigating to our room in near darkness set the tone for the stay.||Upon entering our room, we were hit with the overwhelming stench of sewage coming from the bathroom drain. To make matters worse, there were no duvets on the bed. At first, we thought the sheet on the mattress might double as a blanket, but it turned out to be a mattress protector. When we went to reception to request duvets, we were told the linen cupboard was locked and couldn’t be accessed until the following day. With no other option, we used our towels as blankets for the first night.||The next day, we spent the entire day out, hoping to return to duvets on our bed. To our frustration, nothing had been provided. Once again, the receptionist gave the same excuse—that the linen cupboard was locked. Meaning again, we had to use our towels as blankets for a second time. It then got to a point where if we did want to use the shower, we would have to sacrifice one of our sleeping towels.||The rest of the room was equally disappointing. The plug sockets were loose and hanging off the wall, the mismatched hangers were an afterthought, and the whole room was covered in dust. A spare pillow in the wardrobe was dirty and lacked a pillowcase, making it unusable.||The room did feature a small balcony, but even this was problematic. The balcony door was entirely glass and had no curtain or covering. Despite drawing the main curtains, light from the street poured into the room all night. By morning, it felt like we were sleeping with the curtains wide open as sunlight flooded the room. Needless to say, sleep quality was terrible. I’ve attached photos to highlight these issues.||Overall, in the nicest possible way, this place was a dump. I will definitely NOT be coming back or recommending...
Read moreDon't stay at this hotel. The room was small and look nothing like the picture. The balcony was tiny. The bathroom smelt like drains. It was advertised as having a key safe mini bar air conditioning free Wi-Fi. There was no key safe, so I couldn't leave our passports or my jewellery in the room and had to carry him around with me. It said a short walk from the city centre. A. It was at least a 30-minute walk and was it in a rundown part of the city. Trams ran throughout the night So it was very noisy when trying to sleep. There was an individual air conditioning like it stated. The hotel controlled it and only put it on when they thought necessary at 24°. The weather was very hot and it didn't call the room down so it was very hard to sleep in that heat. The flat screen TV was very small and the reception was bad. It looked like they'd been a snow storm on the screen. There was no mini bar, not even a fridge. Wi-Fi was only available in public areas which basically meant the just the breakfast Room No bottled water was provided by the hotel, you had to buy it. The shower head kept falling So I had to hold the shower to wash. We reported this but nothing was done. The corridor lights wasn't working properly. It was pitch black when you come out the lift. There was no bar as advertised. We followed the signs for the bar and found a dark empty room with some empty fridges. I wouldn't recommend or...
Read moreBefore choosing this hotel I read the reviews which all were good, the staff were very friendly, food was good etc. This could not have been further from the truth unfortunately. We interacted with the staff 3 times in all and actually the interaction consisted of me standing there while they were on the phone ignoring us. Twice we had to walk away without even being acknowledged. The rooms air con was poor at best as such we didn't sleep due to the heat. We paid for bed and breakfast.....on our 2nd day we went for breakfast. We were the only ones there the bread was stale the staff put the kettle on then left when I went to make coffee there was none. In all we couldn't eat anything and didn't even get a coffee. I thought I was supporting one of the smaller hotels by staying there and also based on the reviews it seemed like a decent place. Didn't need to be 5 star etc. So disappointed to say I would never ever stay here again and unfortunately I can't even...
