I stayed at Cazino Nord Hostel for three nights, and I can confidently say it is one of the best hostels I have ever visited. The atmosphere is cozy and friendly, making me feel right at home.
Location: The hostel is situated in a vibrant area close to public transportation and has the best view on the beach in Mamaia. Additionally, there are many cafes, restaurants, and shops within walking distance.
Cleanliness: The place is clean, with facilities being cleaned daily. The bathrooms and kitchens are always tidy, which added to my comfort during the stay.
Services and Amenities: There is a fully equipped shared kitchen, which allowed me to prepare my meals easily.
Staff: The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
Price: The price is very reasonable compared to the services and amenities provided by the hostel. Excellent...
Read moreDon't be put off by the negative reviews of this place. They seem to come from people who don't understand what a hostel is, as opposed to a hotel. We stayed in their economy rooms and it was more than we expected for the price. Facilities were very good, albeit somewhat rundown, but we've seen worse from far better rated accomodations. The staff was amazing, very welcoming and catered to all our needs. The facilities were always kept clean, but with shared facilities you can always expect some mess, but the cleaning crew did their best to keep everything under check. The location is perfect, with the beach literally at your doorstep. If you know how to spend time in a hostel and don't want hotel level accomodations, this place is one of the best you can find. Highly recommend the ground...

As there were two twin beds, it would've been normal to also have two sockets, but there was only one, so we had to buy a device on our own in order to be able to charge our phones and to keep the fan active (to avoid dying from heating). Rooms are not isolated at all and it's very hard to sleep even with earplugs (because music is playing for 16 hours every single day during the summer!). I suggest people to avoid booking a room here. There are better hostels and...
