Albatros Hotel — Hotel in Constanta Metropolitan Area

First of all, the pictures above are not of the hotel Albatros !||I arrived at this hotel without a reservation,a few days before the summer season and did not encounter other tourists. The woman at the reception,Cristina, was very unpleasent,impolite,speaking inna very bad tone.It was clear that we werent wanted there.If it wasnt already late evening,i would have left to search for another hotel.She even made calls to the room,with the same rude tone. I did leave the next morning and moved to another hotel close by. The rooms have 90s furniture ,very heavily decorated and very kitch. The elevator is small,old style and has to be operated by a person.The woman who was operating it that night was also in a bad mood and she even criticised us in a rude and arogant manner for blocking it because we pushed on the handle of the door and now she had to go to the 4th floor to fix it.They were happier in the morning to see us leave,and we were probably the only guests in the hotel at that time. For us, this was overpriced and had one of the worst service weve encountered.Thats perhaps why they have no review section on Booking com. I think we stayed in the best room, forth floor,corner balcony,but even from there , other hotels have much better view. There are far better hotels around it.Also the balcony has old white Plastic chairs and table,the cheapest kind you would find in a low end bar. Has a good location,but then..all hotels in Mamaia have a good location,Mamaia beeing a narrow strip along...

Am fost cazat la Hotel Albatros in perioada 30.07 - 01.08.2022, intr o suita cu 1 dormitor. Adica o camera, cu un pat pentru doua persoane si o canapea extensibila pentru doua persoane.

Curatenie/Aspect: Era curat, iar camera miroasea frumos, totul organizat, nimic aruncat. Camera nu parea noua, sa vedea ca a fost utilizata intens in ultima perioada, dar nimic sa-ti creeze neplaceri. Cearsafurile curate, prosoape curate la discretie, in baie sapun, sampon, clasic pentru hoteluri. Holul arata bine, interesant dpdv arhitectural si cum a fost mobilat, mirosea frumos, era mai mult decat prezentabil. La fel si receptia destul de spatioasa si curata. Pe exterior hotelului i ar prinde bine o mana de vopsea si mici reparatii, dar in rest e ok.

Oamenii: Toti, atat cei de la receptie, cat si portarul si persoanele de serviciu, extrem de amabili, vorbareti intr un sens bun si cu bun simt.

Spatiu: pentru doua persoane spatiul este mai mult decat generos, la patru persoane devine putin incghesuit, dar te poti deacurca. Pentru 4 persoane, 1 baie cam putin. Plus baia foarte mica, dar dotata cu minimul necesar.

Obiecte: In amandoua camere ai televizor, mini frigider, care face si gheata, plus doua fotolii, dulapuri pentru haine, destul de incapatoare, spatiu intre mobilier, care permit trecerea destul de lejer. Si un balcon foarte generos, cu o sarma pe care iti poti intinde prosoapele dupa ce vii de la mare.

Ptivelistea: de la camera 111, etajul 1, in care am fost cazati noi, se poate observa marea in partea stanga, lacul pe dreapta si in fata este orasul Constanta. Este o priveliste frumoasa, dar nu incredibila.

Masa: Nu am avut mic dejun, nici nu stiu daca se poate sa ai, dar la 5 minute sunt terase, la care am putut servii masa. De asemenea, nu cred ca au restaurant deci nu am ce comenta aici.

Parcarea: E putin jale, sunt locuri de parcare dar foarte putine si sunt si multi care nu sunt de la hotel si vin sa parcheze. Portarul ar trebuii sa si faca treaba putin mai bine si sa nu lasa pe toata lumea sa si lase masina.

Distanta: de plaja este nesemnificativa, e fix la 1-2 minute, aprope ca e direct pe plaja, iar de restaurante si centru din mamaia la vreo 2-3 minutele.

Recomandare: Hotelul pe exterior ar merita o improspatare si sa se rezolve problema cu parcarea, nu mai fie lasati oamenii sa parcheze aiurea. Recomand hotelul, am fost cazat de doua ori aici, in aceeasi camera si a fost...

The hotel was nice, the rooms were good and the stay was pleasent for all the 5 days we stayed there. I only give 3 stars as the sheets on the bed were never changed even thought the towels were changed daily. The first two days the bed was just aranged to the exactly the way it was when we checked in but the sheets were not changed. The third day, the bed sheets were just streched a bit more than we arranged them but still not changed. And the fourth day the bed hasn't been touched at all. Because of that, i only give 3 stars. Ow and the head from the shower kept falling off when your turning on the water as it was broken but other than that we were pleased with our stay. I recommend going there and i would stay...
