Motel Davios — Hotel in Târgu Jiu

I've spent one night at Motel Davios and I can't really complain about anything in the room. Bed was comfortable, room was spacious and clean, bathroom was more than ok.||||There are two things that really annoyed me at this motel. First, the rooms have no hallway. So once you opened the door, you're in the room. This lowers the privacy level of the room by a lot, since you hear anything and everything going on in the hallway on your floor. Which can be quite unnerving if you want to sleep during odd hours (like I did) or if you're unlucky enough to get a room next to a group of tourists that are constantly knocking on each other's doors in order to talk or share stuff (like I did).||||The second thing that annoyed me was the fact that the walls are so thin that you can basically hear everything going on in neighboring rooms. Floor and ceiling are no exception. You can hear every step your neigbor takes in the room above.||||I haven't eaten at their restaurant.||||Staff were pretty bored and unwilling to help when I got there. I've stayed on this little and sympa motel for a month. Super carrying staff & owners, taking care of the guests more than I ever expected. Room price versus location, and (excellent services) is incomperable to similar locations in Targu Jiu, even for those hotelsclaiming higher * standards. Nu recomand aceasta locatie mai ales pentru grupuri cu copii. Cred ca patroana are probleme grave de sanatate. Am fost cu un grup de copii, si si-a permis sa-i jigneasca doar pentru simplul fapt ca se jucau(vezi doamne faceau galagie). Cand am fost sa discut cu dumneaei si sa-mi cer scuze daca au deranjat, a inceput sa urle isteric si nu se putea comunica cu aceasta. Ba chiar mai mult de atat, cand i-am cerut sa-mi arate imaginile inregistrate pe camera de luat vederi(pentru ca mi-a spus ca are imagini cu fetitele care se tarau pe hol, asa ceva nu mai vazuse de cand lumea...), mi-a spus urland ca o sa deruleze camerele sa imi arate, dar acele persoane vor pleca apoi-nu stiu la cine se referea, probabil la copii). Doamna stia ca se vor caza copii, si ca acestia se mai joaca, ca asa e normal. Putea sa refuze rezervarea, daca nu accepta asa ceva, ne descurcam noi cumva. Deci in concluzie,...
