Best Western Plus Centre Hotel — Hotel in Владимирский округ

The Best Western is very well located in the heart of St Petersburg. It is just across Ploshcad Vosstaniya from Moskovsky main line railway station on Ligovskiy Avenue, near to the junction with Nevski Prospekt.||The building is quite old as are many of the fixtures and fittings in the rooms. The one lift was also somewhat rickety.||However, my room itself was large and comfortable with plenty of storage space. There was a safe, complimentary bottled water, a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities.||There was a slight whiff of drains in the bathroom but it was fine with a powerful hot shower but no bath tub.||Breakfast was served in the adjacent Du Nord restaurant and it was different but pretty good.||The breakfast dishes were named after various cities. On the first morning, I had the ‘Moscow’ which consisted of granola followed by Russian pancakes, with coffee and orange juice.||On the second morning, I went for the ‘Amsterdam’ which was porridge followed by brioche rolls topped with poached egg and bacon, again with coffee and orange juice.||I enjoyed both selections, although on the second morning, they were late opening the breakfast room, so I didn’t get to finish my meal as I needed to get to the airport in a hurry.||The staff were very helpful and were able to direct me to a nearby clinic in order to get a PCR test.||I couldn’t say the same about the clinic called Invitro - absolutely hopeless !||I stayed at the hotel for two nights and paid £68....

Room was really nice. Bathroom alright but quite small. Great location- right opposite the main railway stations. My room windows opened right into the famous Nevisky Prospekt and had a magnificient view. Hallways decoarated with nice paintings giving it a classy feeling. Only one lift seemed to be there and was really small and old. The restaurant was pretty small. There was a daily breakfast buffet but one of the tiniest I've ever had. For the final day we needed packed breakfast. They provided it pretty fast the previous night itself but wasn't filling. All in all it's great for the price. A shopping mall named Galleria about 2 mins' walking distance away. It has a food court with a pretty food selection of food and the mall has many shops from branded shoes, clothes to and a convenience store. The world renown "sight seeing hop on hop off bus" has a stop just in front of the hotel. There very convenient to hop...

1.Location is very good (convenient because we can walk and no need use metro) 2.Room- Wide area 1.Service- We found very bad service which we have never seen from any hotels. Let us talk about 1 woman receptionist on 7 May, 14.30 pm. She expressed bad manner both toning and face. We didn’t understand about registration form fee(250 RUB/ person) as additional payment. She couldn’t clearly explain reason in english and we use google translate for talking each other. She gave letter us about announcement for this additional payment but it was written in Russian language and we used translation application on our mobile into English. We think that Best western hotel as 4 stars hotel and have many brands all over the world which provide good service standard.

Receptionist called us around 10.00 pm at first night because water pipe in bathroom has problem which water leaked through to second floor and ask us to stop using water until tomorrow morning. At a moment, someone was not yet...
