Summary: Tasty food, decent ambience, good service and no holes in your pocket. Detailed Review: FOOD: Indian Food in a foreign land is always difficult to rate...At Great Punjab that was not the case. I was here with my German colleagues who have already had Indian food before and can rate the food. For them and also for me, food was just Great. We ordered Chicken Tikka, Chicken Kadai, Butter Chicken and Murgh Curry with Variety of Naan. You cannot forget to have Lassi when the restaurant is named 'Great Punjab'. However I would say that Lassi was not as great as the main course.

AMBIENCE: Being the first timers we were a little confused at the entrance of the restaurant as the door is in unusual direction. Next time we will find it right unless they change it. The dining tables are a little high, however the sitting arrangement is nice and very comfortable. They played Bollywood Mashup in the background and was perfect for us after a exhausting day.

SERVICE: Food was served in time, didn't had to wait for another rounds of Naan. They have the 'Desi' style of serving the food in Kadai and we loved it. Made me feel home.

PRICE: Worth it..not expensive at all.

REVISIT: For sure.

Eating tasty and healthy food is always at the highest priority, hence I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are hungry and desi.

Not good for indian food , not tasty very bad taste and after eating stomach will upset, better to choose another restaurant but not this , and definitely there business lunch is worthless, never go and eat , highly disappointed with the taste and behavior of the restaurant Even I don’t think that this is Indian restaurant, indian never eat like this , 🤮🤢🤮🤢🤢 Yes and even online price on web and there menu price has very big differences so be aware guys specially INDIANS not to go there , its just waste of money belivee me 🙏

This is a wonderful place walking distance from nevisky centre. Ambience is very good. Staff is extremely courteous. Food is of top quality. Daal makhaani is better than any authentic Indian restaurant in saint Petersburg. Butter paneer is very tasty. Menu has wide variety of vegetarian and non vegetarian food. Excellent set of starters as well. Sweet dish and desserts are amazing. Quantity of servings is good and prices are also very reasonable. Indian and Pakistani cooks give you the best taste of the countries. A must visit in saint Petersburg. Special mention for cook Mr Vinay thakur for the best daal makhaani and Butter paneer. Steward Mr Ali is a thorough professional and needs a special appreciation for his services. Owner Mr shezad is a wonderful guy..making sure that the guests get the best of the treatment.
