Nova M Hotel Riyadh, Edge by Rotana — Hotel in Municipality of Olaya

I loved staying at Nova M! It is one of two of my fave affordable hotels in Riyadh. To start- The staff: were all so welcoming and went out of their way with kindness and wanted to help with everything. The parking: is available free of charge, underground and protected by security. The reception: is very lovely and comfortable, dates and Arabic coffee to welcome you, the coffee shop provides healthy food or treats and Starbucks brand drinks, comfy seating. The restaurant: on M level had wonderful food with many options. Hot western food (eggs, hash browns, meats, tomatoes, mushrooms), hot Asian food (noodles, curry), hot Arabic food (foul beans). Also an egg chef was available to make your omelettes etc. Breads, pancakes, waffles, pastries. Coffee machine, tea, juices, water, milk. Gourmet cereals. Cold section, yoghurts, fruits, chia pudding, cheeses, salads, etc. The room: very cosy, so clean and pristine, brand new looking, comfy feather pillows, large tv. Fruit plate provided free (red apples), large bottles of water. A few tea bags provided with a kettle (I assume coffee too, can’t remember). Slippers provided, shoe shine sponge, lint remover, toiletries, toothbrush, hair net, etc. Wifi: had moments when it would drop out.. maybe that was just me, but my Netflix buffered a bit. The pool: amazing views!! It looked so impressive. Although the water was very cold. Men and women can swim together yay, so happy; but they do also have women only times if you don’t want men there. The gym: small but has good views over the pool. Men and women, or women can go at the women only times. Machines were high quality modern machines with screens. Water provided. Steam room and Sauna: I didn’t use, but they looked nice and you can have men and women if you want. Spa: massage room looks nice, though I didn’t use it. Location: a quick walk to the metro train station and an easy train line to all of the busy luxury malls. It’s also across from many local fabric stores.

Overall it was great! The pricing was excellent. It was so so clean and new. Everything was comfortable. The staff were so lovely....

The hotel is very good due to location, cleanliness, and standard. The location is on Olaya street not too far away from Kingdom Tower, malls, shops, restaurants are within 15minute uber ride, or even in walking distance depending what you want. The food is outstanding given that its buffet style. I had half board and was always satisfied. I had to get up early and the staff was always ready to provide early breakfast anytime. The atmosphere created by all staff is very good. The staff is very friendly and attentive. An issue with the fuses in my room which kept tripping was resolved and even an alternative room was without delay provided. I stayed a few weeks for a job, that why I experience the fuse thing, but other than that it was a great stay. The bigger rooms allow for plenty of space. Some rooms have full floor height windows which I prefer, depending on what side your room is. All staff was super supportive to create an unforgettable stay. Despite the fact that this is not a Ritz Carlton, the hotel is cozy, spotless with great service. Of course, personal taste applies, but generally speaking it is the higher segment of hotel in terms of quality and service. The reception staff, waiters, technicians, cleaners, bellmen are super pro-active and assisting with anything if in their power. The laundry service is very good and despite several laundries were nearby I used the hotel service due to great and fast service. The cafeteria on ground floor serves a great variate of drinks and food. The hang-out area on the ground floor is nice to relax and watch people. There is a wide footpath which allows easy walking with a metro station 3 minutes walking away. Money machine is across the road in a Andalus Mall to get some cash, if needed. Definitely, I can recommend this hotel for short, medium...

Stayed for 5 Nights @ Nova M. This was my first stay @ Nova M, as I entered the parking area, I felt it was too narrow and was not happy about it, infact wanted to change the hotel, but Since the stay was already booked, I went to check in, and since then, my perception of the hotel changed completely, I met Haya at the reception a very welcoming lady, then I met the bell boy Sitesh, a very helpful guy, I told him about my concern about parking, he immediately took my keys and got the Valet parking tag, since then I never had to take the pain of parking my car, it was done by this ever smiling Valet parking guy, sorry gentleman forgot your name. Next day morning went for breakfast and ever since Nova M has become one of my favourite Hotels in Riyadh, Nur the Outlet Manager was always on his toes, ready for anything you want, Dildarul, the head waiter, Shushant Rai, another Sudhant and Subhash very amazing waiters, always smiling and never said no for anything, one time I was late for lunch almost at the closing time but the chef was kind enough to make me fresh Kababs, Rishad the Indian kerala cook went out of the way to make me some daal, though it was not part of the buffet.
