I came on a Friday morning in September. I followed an Argentinian from the old Belgrade train station. I lived there two months before returning to France. I mean, we lived there for two months, more for some. Foreigners, local, this is now only one big group of friends. Impossible to leave. It has since become a new home. A big collocation. I have been traveling back and forth to Belgrade for three years and each time I come back to the starting point. At home.||||I must say, I traveled a lot for years, but never had this impression.||||For details, Sun hostel is a huge house, with apartment, living room, cushions, paintings, carpets, practical kitchen. A terrace and a rabbit.||||Throughout the year, winter and summer, activities are offered, not tequila with a drunk Australian who will take you to Skadarlija, although drunk Australian can be found ... No, activities that change... cultural, historical , movies ...||||And of course, the neighborhood! Vracar, the farmer market next door, the chocolate Rolnica in the morning, taxis next door, the bakery open 24/24, the same for the supermarket, its hairdressers ...||||And the team... People are incredibly good...

There is some magical vibe in it - from the lovely cozy garden in the backyard, through the nice small street on which it is located, to its main advantage - its lovely staff! People there are so warm-welcoming, approachable and and they create an excellent atmosphere. You feel they are genuinely interested in their guests and their stories. They somehow create a life of the hostel of its own. Whenever I stay there, there is always a guest/s who is there for the second, third , fourth... etc time which I think is the most clear proof that this place is really worth staying.||||I would definitely recommend it to every traveler passing...

The kitchen is fully functional and well stocked, everyone spending time in hostels knows how rare that is. The common are is comfy as hell. The garden has a cute rabbit and is a small oasis in the hustle of Belgrad city. I spend more time hanging out there with the awesome staff and getting drunk then exploring the night live. The center of Belgrad is reached by food in 25 min and by bus in 10. The only downside was, that such a great place naturally produces a lot of longtime and returning visitors most of them above 40 years of age. So if you want to meet a lot other young travelers other hostels...
