Sveti Sava Park (Парк Светог Саве) in Niš is a vibrant urban oasis blending nature, culture, and community life. Situated between Bulevar Nemanjića and Vizantijski Bulevar, it's among the city's largest and most frequented parks. At its heart stands the striking Church of Saints Emperor Constantine and Empress Helena, adding spiritual and architectural charm. The park features well-maintained green spaces, playgrounds, and shaded paths, making it ideal for families, joggers, and casual visitors. Surrounded by cafés, eateries, and local shops, it offers both relaxation and social engagement. Regular events like Medijana Fest and holiday celebrations enhance its appeal. Whether for a peaceful stroll or community festivities, Sveti Sava Park is a cherished...

Must see for Orthodox and non Orthodox individuals. Beautiful place.

P. S. Only a side note to the individuals who work there, priests or volunteers, PLEASE share some pamphlets or info at the door to all visitors so they are aware that this church is not a museum or playground and to be respectful to it and to believers. Following the conversion of the Hagia Sophia to a mosque in July 2020, the Patriarch of Serbia Irinej and Serbia's president Aleksandar Vučić in August 2020 expressed their wish the Saint Sava Church would symbolically replace the Hagia Sophia, after which it was modelled, and become a "New Hagia Sophia".

From outside the building, you would never believe the grandeur of this church. It was magnificently magical. It's simple and amazing how people can imagine, draw, form, and build something so beautiful. It's so peaceful inside.
