HOTEL DASH — Hotel in City of Novi Sad

I just saw the pictures on Tripadvisor, and I was in shock. It is this hotel, but this picture do not have touch with reality. Hotel is very bad. Lot of potential, in some moment many years ago I believe that this hotel was very good or maybe fantastic, but in this moment this hotel is in very bad condition. Rooms are dirty, curtains on the windows are broke, bathroom is in very bad condition and also cleanliness is under a big question mark. I was in shock, because I expect minimum balkans “three stars”, but I get Italian “two stars”. But staff what work there is fantastic, on reception, during the night when we come around one o’clock in the morning, reception guy give us beer, in the morning on breakfast was very funny with very polite and nice woman ( some woman in position between chief and waiter ), and fantastic girl on the bar, so polite and nice….|But for sure, I will never come in this hotel again, only if somebody invest some money for maintenance. Refrigerator was in very bad condition, I didn’t want to use pillows because they had some strange smell… many potential… do something with...

The hotel is very clean and rooms are of a good size.|I expected air conditioning, as it was advertised as being available. Was advised that hotel is centrally heated/cooked and should be same in all rooms. We had 3 different rooms booked and all were different temperatures. Was not great as during our stay it was 38° plus every say, so it was a little unpleasant. The rooms were cool, but should have air conditioning.|The beds are terrible, very thin mattresses on slats or springs that sag very badly and make for an uncomfortable sleep. The sheets also don't fit some move and scrunch up during the night.|It's 3km from town so your own transportation or taxi's are needed.|The staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke good English. Breakfast included was also good.|This is not a 4 star hotel, a 3 at best.|Need to fix beds and...

I stayed in this hotel for one night only, so all I am sharing is my first experience - and first is not always the most accurate. Stuff was nice and professional. Bad thing was some nasty little bar across the street - turbo folk music was loud and there were some drunk people screaming in the street, just below my window. Not the best experience if you need to relax and fall asleep. My friends and I booked two rooms and none of them was as nice as this one in the picture, but it was OK - just basic stuff: bed (no canopy included), mini-bar and TV. It's not quite in the city center, but it's not too far away and taxi price was affordable. Use of the swimming pool is not complimentary for guests, so you will have to pay extra if you'd like a swim.||||All in all, it was good, price was good, but it was not...
