Arrival: Greeted by a warm welcome from all the staff who would be assisting us during our stay. We were immediately taken for refreshments while overseeing the crystal clear waters of the Seychelles (our hearts were already stolen by the JA team at this point). Check in process was smooth which included a mobile phone for us to use when/if we were making local calls (free of charge). We were added to a WhatsApp group where all additional information was sent to us (menus, questions, room service, this was new to us but was an incredible idea).
Room: A boutique hotel with 3 rooms, we were extremely lucky to have been the only guest at the property during our stay. Our room was large, clean, brand new with huge floor to ceiling windows with views to Eden Island and the beautiful scenery of the Seychelles. Every time we left the room the housekeeping staff ensured that our room was freshened up with water, fresh milk, towels and fresh flowers (the time of the room service was entirely up to the client which can be easily arranged through the WhatsApp group or asking a member of staff).
Staff: OMG! Incredibly kind people who will make your requests a reality (we were very demanding customers). The entire staff at the JA loves their job and this shows when they are always there willing to go the extra mile to provide you with a unique experience. We would personally like to mention Dania who is a gem of the JA and Seychelles, all the staff were friendly and always greeted you with a smile and took the time to talk (their approach to customer service was infectious).
Facilities: Facilities spread over two hotels with the JA Waterfront Villas perfect for escaping reality. A complimentary daily ferry to the other property was on offer (unfortunately we did not utilize this service, because we were in love with the JA...
Read moreWe had a great time at this location, a nice welcoming and really friendly staff. But I might have to say that we didn’t like few things. Close to the resort, they are building something now,( it may be over the rest of the year or longer, looks like they just start recently and the noises in the morning might ruin your sleep) , plus that the noises are during the entire day and it’s not pleasant at all The breakfast was good but will be nice if they can give you more options, if you stay here more then a week you get bored with the same meal in every morning. The view is nice, good to spend time on the pool.. but the beach is dirty and the water is not that clean(because of the construction that is there) It is unreal to ask for 50€ for a taxi from the airport (as it is only 7 min drive) plus when we left the taxi driver asked for 75€.. We rent a car over our stay ( I definitely recommend Sandra from Nicko Car hire , it is only 50€ /day ( she was a great lady and she even can organise a trip with the boat) We meet her in the airport when we left and she said that the journey from airport to the resort it has to be only 20€.. So be careful with that 🤞 We stay few nights here, and we went at their resort on the island ( definitely no one has to miss that, best beach for snorkelling, kayak and view) For guests who are located at the Waterfront the trip with the boat to the island is free, but need to talk with them one day before to know exactly the hours of...
Read moreWe found this hotel, because we only had one night before leaving again. We were welcomed by some friendly staff.||We really thought the hotel was bigger than this, but that is our own mistake. They didn't have a bar and no restaurant, but the neighbourhotel had. Got shown how to get to Eden Island to find a restaurant.||The breakfast we had to order beforehand, so that they could get it from the neighbourhotel as well. We could choose two things on the menu. This wasnt the normal breakfastbuffet. When we came down to eat it also looked like we were the only one staying at the hotel. ||After we have visited a restaurant and came to the hotel again, we found out that the beds were not "fresh". We found hair, sand and marks in the sheets, and we send the photos on our rooms Whatsapp-chat. After a short while, the only employer in the hotel came and took the same photos as us. He quickly gave us a new room, so that was a big plus. Except the new bed was also not in clean condition, but at this point we didn't wanted to bother them anymore, as it was around midnight and a new room would probably be the same. This room was a much better/bigger room. Was wondering why we didnt get the room in the beginning...||Well, we are glad that we didnt stay more nights here. It is an acceptable hotel, but nothing more than that. I believe that you can get better hotels in the area. Maybe look into the neighbourhotel; L'Escale...
