Eagle’s Nest Hostel — Hotel in Postojna

Laura and her family were all great hosts. The hostel is just over a year old (they had celebrated their first anniversary the day before we got there), and it is still in tip-top shape. Everything was spotless, but also very inviting. There's a large, welcoming common area with books and games to play (even one you can learn some Slovenien!) or just have a nice chat with the other guests. Laura was very helpful in giving us awesome tips for places to visit a little more off-the-beaten-path, and was generally very friendly and informative. The room itself is shared, but the beds are very comfortable, the room gets dark at night with very little outside noise, and plenty of extra blankets if you're a cold sleeper.

The bathrooms were also extremely clean, the shower was nice and spacious as well. There's drinks (of all sorts) and other snacks that can be purchased, and a grocery store is literally the door next to the entrance.

All in all, I hope the very best for Laura and her hostel. They're planning on installing a kitchen within the next year, so it sounds like this cozy little place will get even better. I cannot recommend this...

Had the perfect stay at this hostel. Laura and her family are wonderful hosts who warmly welcomed me into their hostel and provided great tips and hospitality. The hostel is spotlessly clean, it is obvious they are proud of providing a great experience to their guests. I stayed in a private room for 2 on the second floor which also included a separate living area with a large couch to relax on. Downstairs includes a large living area with plenty of space to sit down and relax. I would absolutely recommend this hostel to anyone...

We had a short stop at Postojna in the Eagles Nest Hostel. Everything is super clean and hosts are so kind. The place is near everything. There is a store,next to the hostel, a free parking, and down the street are few restaurants....
