Adelsberg castle ruins — Attraction in Postojna

The castle built into the side of the hill is pretty cool but I probably would have saved the 60 Euro it cost my family to enter by looking at it from the outside. The free app audio guide was helpful and not too detailed - the armoury was probably the most interesting part but really we were in and out in an hour without rushing. THIS IS NOT THE CASTLE!

We accidentally trekked up a mountain thinking we were making our way to the castle. The pictures on the other reviews are incorrect - get a shuttle bus or taxi from the cave as the REAL castle is 9km away.

Staff at the parking has been very unhelpful and impolite. There is a sign specifying motorhomes could park except from 21:00 to 8:00. As soon as I park a guy with a blue badge came a shouted at me "go away". I explained why I parked and the sign at the entrance and he shouted again "go away".
