Egmont Guest House — Hotel in Eastern Cape

DO NOT STAY HERE!! When we arrived during checking in time nobody answered the doorbell, after struggling to get hold of the manager telephonically, his girlfriend opened the door wearing pj's. The room was not the same room advertised. The carpets were stained, the paint peeled from the walls, the ceiling cracked, TV had one working channel. There were holes in the towels, sheets were stained, extremely old and washed out. There was no fridge also no complementary soap was available. The bathroom was dirty next to the toilet. We just took our bags and walked out the door as we did not see ourselves spending the night. We even paid for breakfast and we still have not been contacted by the manager.
