I needed a simple place to stay for three days. My criteria were simple; inexpensive, safe, clean, and quiet. Kairos seemed to fit all criteria, so I booked in.|It satisfied all my criteria perfectly.||General: The lodge has only been running for three months, and I can see that improvements are ongoing.||The room: It was comfortable, and clean and very quiet. No luxury, just a very comfortable bed, nice bathroom with a good shower, plenty of fluffy blankets for the cold. A small desk would have been nice, but not essential.||The staff: They were all very friendly and helpful. They seem dedicated as well. While I was there they were doing some touch-up painting on the patio, for example.||The parking area: Loads of safe parking. Place for three cars undercover, the rest is uncovered.||The kitchen: This is an area that needs improvement. The appliances are very old and really need to be replaced. Surfaces and cupboards are equally old, and the show the scars of age, burn marks, scratches, etc.||The area: There is some road noise from the highway nearby, but really only when you are outside the building. It is located quite close to Bedford Centre and also to Bedfordview, so you have easy access to shops, restaurants etc. For my purposes it was...

The lodge is beautifully nestled in nature, offering a wide and clean kitchen, dining area and beautifully furnished lounge that are comfortable for relaxation. My room was impeccably clean and tastefully decorated, providing the perfect sanctuary after a day of exploring. The staff's were always attentive and eager to their duty.

During my time in KAIROS I went to Bedford center and kloof mall to buy the snack's and drink's I need. it's just walking distance one traffic light away. quite and peaceful suburb to walk around.
