Rooms were in great condition. I'd say that it's affordable luxury, where, for that affordability, there are no sacrifices in terms of comfortability in the room, or items at breakfast, or with regard to the service/assistance given by the staff. Everything is just going so smoothly.

Edit: Was, going smoothly. I had come down at around 6:50am, bought a hot chocolate from the coffee shop, and had a bowl of cereal. I then went to the front desk, and asked if I could come down with my mother later, before breakfast finishes, so that might be able to have something else, (even though i wouldn't be able to have most of the food, due to it not being halaal). I was told that's it would be okay. I was not told of any rule about coming for breakfast once, neither when I came for breakfast, nor when i was leaving and I had spoken to someone at the front desk.

I came back at around 9:30, and I was approached by someone, telling me of this rule which I wasn't told. He was here when I came earlier. It was just me at the time I had come earlier, so it must have been quite obvious of what I had eaten (a bowl of cereal, and a paid-for cup of hot chocolate). Anyways, before I came in the second time, I was let through by the lady taking signatures for breakfast at the front desk, with no issue, and obviously she knew that I had signed earlier.

But this still...

The rule should have been explained before it was, and I should have been told about it when I was entering for the first time and they saw that it didn't include the 2 people for breakfast as was written on the paper.

This leaves a bad taste after such good service, excellent rooms, excellent prices, and kind and helpful staff...

Not good.

Edit 2: I was apologised to, and that's all. I don't know if I'll be recommending this hotel to my Muslim clients, based on a few factors, but mainly lack of halaal items at breakfast, then this kind of situation possibly happening again, if no changes are made to when and how they explain the rules for breakfast.

Big facility ,well invested in the buildings but not recreational facilities. Design shortcoming reception tacked far away from parking /entrance and unless you aware of the lift in underground parking as first time guest you will most likely take two long stair flights to first floor with your bags.

Very clean but hot water can rout out shortly after you run the taps.

Breakfast variety dissapinting ...protein item was only an omelette . Small portion of fruit salad ...MH no soup ....

But the ala carte menu items..I chose steak and spinach ..excellently done the beef just like as I like it from a well selected animal young well fed . it was soft and juicy with somevminimam fat for that lovely taste of beef.

staff some even at front office are groomy..so much unlike South Africans ..but met some lovely staff at restaurant and housekeeping

At times the staff at restaurant are overwhelmed by small no of guests and can seem snoby as they struggle between orders.

Asked to print a document at front sent via email ..MH feedback too for ever decided to go eat as I wait for the print ...that was it ..not feedback ..in follow up a guy went to look for the lady who took request took long went back to me restaurant table ...never got any feedback ...printed elsewhere and my bolt lite guy delivered on no time.

Overall good value for money but I think breakfast for a 860 rands a room shouldn't be that basic or may be I used to much more from a 3 star facility in East Africa .

There was no big dissapointment.

The hotel was great,our airbnb host Marius&Cara were amazing and most accommodating hosts. Loved the gym.

However,first day i asked the cleaner not to clean our apartment because im usually not comfortable with cleaners coming in during our stay but the second day i decided to pack our things away in order for her to come in and clean while we went to the gym.

And the only reason i allowed her to come in was because the apartment did not have a dishwasher. But heres my point,the cleaner stole my La senza thong,like i know this because i literally took 2thongs,one id wear the day i arrive and one for when i leave.

But i couldnt find the other one anywhere,i think it was somewhere under the bed as i thought that i packed away everything but i found she put my other little dress i was wearing the previous day on the chair so i figured the thong was probably with the dress. I looked everywhere for it even in my partner's bag and it was nowhere.

I didnt wanna make a big deal of this because i thought i was gonna easily replace it but Lasenza no longer have the same thing n now my bra will be thongless,like serious can the cleansers please respect our things🙏

I would never intentionally leave a dirty panty laying around when i know someone is coming in to clean. Thats the other thing that worries me,like what on earth are u gonna do with my dirty panty🤔

Nevertheless id probably still book G04 again i just wont let cleaners in while im still there...
