Maison Jacaranda — Hotel in Gauteng

I stayed here twice in July and this place was perfect. I stayed in the Orchid room, which had a lot of space and was very comfortable. MJ is a short walk from restaurants and a grocery store, so it is very continently located. I also appreciated the fruit and Muesli that was provided. They also provide water, but rather than plastic bottles it’s in an environmental friendly carton, I really appreciated that! It is also really close to the zoo park that I ran in every day. The Zoo park is a great lace to walk or enjoy nature in the city. The neighborhood is beautiful and I felt very safe there. We had a wonderful stay at Maison Jacaranda. Karen, Buyi and all staff were friendly, helpful and professional...even the pooches!|Booking and pre-arrival communications great. Room just as pictures show and immaculately clean.|There was fresh fruit, berries and yoghurt supplied for a light breakfast and a complimentary bottle of wine.|We were upgraded to a bigger room for no charge and we had everything we needed...plus a gas heater which warmed the room beautifully!|The location was perfect for our needs...walking distance to the Parkview |shops and an easy Uber ride to and from OR Tambo.|We would highly recommend this...

I had a lovely stay at Maison Jacaranda during a work visit to JHB. Check in and check out was very easy, and the detailed booklet left in the room provided me with all the information I needed for my stay.||Twice I had queries which the friendly and kind staff dealt with immediately. The room was comfortable and it felt like the host had thought of everything.
