I had a nice stay, rooms nice and clean. My complain comes where we went to dine in with my cousin. She stayed in hotel without having breakfast course she was leaving very early to sort out her things and there are no takeaways to take food, so her 4 days breakfast money was wasted as she did not it. She did come to eat on the 5th day of our departure, but I was not happy, I myself I do not eat all other staff like bacon, ham, russians, but I only eat eggs so I would only eat eggs when I eat. I asked for it I just did not like the attitude of the lady making eggs, its like you're bothering her when you ask eggs, no smile, worse the 5th day I went to eat with my cousin and she wanted omlette that I ate on the last day and she wanted me to share with course she was afraid to go ask for it and I went to ask for another omlette and the lady making eggs she was like "AGAIN?" I had to explain that I'm asking for my cousin. This question honestly irritated me course I felt like what would be wrong even if I was asking for myself course for breakfast I only take eggs. I guess you'll need to get another person to make omltte and eggs who smiles and who understand that we pay for breakfast when we come to eat, I don't understand her really. Above that we had booked another room with breakfast for 2 nights which could not be refunded and this lady could talk for 2 lousy eggs that I was not even asking...
Read moreFrom the arrival I had an amazing experience from welcoming to being pleasantly surprised and mesmerised by the beauty of the old vintage building. The room small but cozy. It has everything I needed for an overnight stay.|What would have been ideal would to have the WiFi details as part of the welcome back but instead I had to request it.|All that said, each time I stepped foot in the dining hall for supper or breakfast the experience changed for the worse. Although greeted with an amazing chandelier and a very beautiful garden, the hosting staff are clearly inexperienced.|I had a pretty much a half a plate of food for R300 as the person did not offer a A La Carte menu even when asked so I had to join the buffet line which in itself was lacking. As I was not booked for supper included in my stay I had to pay the exorbitant amount for barely a plate. When I confronted they said I could have used the A La Carte menu.|For breakfast I was first in line and had to wait over 5 min for the hot station staff member to arrive. When I placed my order of 2 over easy eggs, I was told to have a seat they’ll bring it. Over 20min later where several others have received their complex omelettes, I was yet to receive my 2 simple eggs. In the meantime my prepped toast has gone cold and tough.|As the title says, all is good but the...
Read morePremier Hotel is an average hotel which is good for short stay even though I spent 6 nights. The location is good and is close to a mini mall with restaurants, pharmacy, banks and supermarket in close walking distance. It is also walking distance to the famous Union Building which is home to the offices of the President of South Africa. ||||The hotel staff was friendly, professional and courteous, this hotel does have a homely feel to it.||||If you want bigger rooms you must book the executive rooms, standard rooms are smaller. The rooms are dated and would do well with more lighting, but it's not a resort so not expecting luxury. The bedding was decent not the best but I did have good night sleep. There was also adequate channels on TV and good WiFi.||||The breakfast is full hot buffet with great dining room staff who will go beyond the call of duty to ensure you have a great experience. The workers are all pleasant, smiling and willing to assist, I also observe they are all great team workers. Kudos for that which seem to be missing in a lot of places who serve customers. ||||Only negative about it is that you can hear the conversations in the next room or when walking down the hallway. ||||I will definitely stay here again at this hotel and as a Travel Agent I would recommend it...
