Golden Canyon Spur — Restaurant in Gauteng

Went today for my babys 1st birthday,,starting from the door Tshego welcomed me with a very friendly and welcoming smile. My baby isn't very good with stranger's but with Tshego she just opened her arm's talk about good spirit there..then she took us to our table, before I even opened the menue she offered me water isn't that some good cultural way..in African culture visitors are offered water before anything else to say you a welcomed now breat,what she did there captured my heart ..she was offering good service through out with a beautiful smile she made sure the food came very quickly and the food was very good hai no will discuss food when I come back again because today I wanna focus on Tshego don't want the food to steal her spot light, than came the singing part she was dancing like its her baby's birthday talk about a waitress who brings the home warmth at work..haibo let me not forget she made sure have memories of this day she took pictures with her own phone because mine was acting up last not least when we left she walked us out ,,can spur Giver her a very deserving crown because she serves from today spur crayon is not a restaurant but a home away from home...now I am even thinking of becoming a writer my first book how to become a good waiter or waitress inspired by Tshegohai sukani..that was a joke above all I was very happy with service a million stars ✨ 🌟 🌟 to Spur...

Went on the 26th of December to celebrate my niece’s birthday.

I gave the service a 4 because we waited a little longer than expected. But I can’t fault them too much as it is a holiday and they were probably understaffed. However it wasn’t even full so that’s the part I don’t understand.

However our waitress, manager… everyone was just sweet. They even sang for my niece and gave her an ice cream. No firelighters thou but I assumed it was because she’s a toddler😂

But overall it was great. The food. Cocktails.

Speaking of cocktails, they are 50% off after 3pm. Make sure you know this😂 and check your bill too. We were mistakenly charged the original amount for the cocktails but our waitress fixed that up very fast.

But even if you don’t bring kids, you’re gonna love it. Nice, clean…...

We were served by Noma she overwhelmingly tried to upswell us suace with our breakfast. She posed it as if it comes with the meal, we refused it. Only to find in the she rang up our coffee as double shot without even asking us whether we wanted double or regular coffee and when we ordered we were implying regular coffee, she also brought a large juice without giving us the option sizes. There is a difference between upselling and tricking customers into paying more. We were tricked into paying more which is really not appropriate. Please send her to customer service...
