I travel extensively and have stayed in many hotels before. |Very dissapointing stay. Actually checked out after a few hours and went to Protea Hotel. We waited almost an hour for our one room and when i took this up with management, she told me I'm lying. Even though I've got a timestamp on my receipt when i paid them and told them they can even check the time they received their payment. Just zero customer service and listening to reason. No ventilation in rooms besides for a fan we needed to request. It shows "aircon" on bookings.com but when you get there, the aircons only in the lounge. Nothing in the rooms. The main bedroom stunk so badly. The pictures on bookings.com was a lie. Place did not look the same. The toaster didn't look like it was cleaned for weeks. Cutlery was filthy. After we checked out, they re-used our rooms for the 3 night stay but even then, they do not want to refund us. So they actually made double the money for that weekend.|Nothing executive...

Read moreWhere do I even begin with my incredible stay at the Max Executive Apartments?! From the moment I arrived, the staff at reception were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our room was spotless and management had left flowers and a personalized letter for my admission celebration over that weekend. The attention to detail and finishing touches were so heartwarming and made me feel so special. The decor and feel of the home is super modern yet homey. Whenever I had a query and phoned down to reception, they promptly answered all my phone calls and answered me concisely. All our needs were met throughout our entire stay. We felt extremely comfortable and safe in our apartment over the weekend. I could not have picked a better location to stay at to celebrate a massive milestone. The apartments are perfectly situated in Johannesburg, close to all the main attractions.
