What’s good here? ⁠A nice selection of beers - including some more ‘niche’ ones.

Fast, friendly service and decent tables/areas for varying group sizes.

Crumbed Mushrooms & Pulled Pork Spring Rolls were certainly ‘big’ servings for starters.

What’s an ‘Opportunity for Improvement’? I’d say it’s more of a bar with food, rather than food-focussed. Menu seems varied enough but the food shaded more towards quantity than quality.

Sauces (wasabi honey and roasted garlic mayo) were a tad bland (or maybe it was just the aftertaste from the great beers!).

Tell me More Despite visiting it during a quite popular football (English Premiership) derby, the service was quick and friendly.

A nice spot for a down-to-earth drinks with friends without too much pretence. Well worth spending time exploring the variety of craft beers and filling up with some hefty portions of ‘good enough’ food too.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hogshead restaurant, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. After spending a few hours in a VERY unventilated space asking for more air and spending tons of money because we had a party of over 30 people there, one of our friends started having a seizure from the heat so we needed to cool her off using ice and give her sugar with coke and rush her to hospital only to be told by the bouncers that WE MAY NOT TAKE the coke that WE PAID for out for a lady who had a MEDICAL EMERGENCY. They were not helpful at all and wouldn’t even walk with us to the car just so the lady could get better before ripping the coke from my hands. And the amount of attitude while having everyone worried for our friends life was really ridiculous. The lovely waitress Ticky came out to the parking lot with a bucket of ice and a coke they let her take out. She was really great and deserved the managers position! A big hand of applaud to her!

CHECK YOUR BOUNCERS AND MAKE THEM KNOW WHAT AN EMERGENCY IS! Not laughing at my friend saying she’s drunk when she clearly wasn’t, she didn’t even drink because their home is 2 hours away
