I cannot thank Judith enough for the perfect stay we had at the blue oyster BnB. Everything about this place is incredible and Judith makes every aspect of it feel like a ‘home from home’. Initially we were shown around and blown away by the view from the breakfast room which continues into every room we saw in the BnB. Straight away we had been upgraded (for free) to a room with a ensuite (but both were equally as incredible) as the room was available. ||Judith goes out of her way to ensure you have everything you need for your stay in Knysna and is plentiful with recommendations (which all turned out to be 5*) for restaurants, things to do, places to see should you wish. Although even if you choose to stay all day at the BnB you’d still have the best time as the pool looked amazing. ||The breakfast which is included with your stay is one of the best breakfast if not the best I have ever had, everything from fresh fruit and yoghurt to a fry up is yours if you wish. ||So lucky to have found this incredible little gem on the...

This is a beautiful Mediterranean style villa (deservedly rated 4 star), positioned high on the ridge overlooking the picturesque Garden Route town of Knysna. The breathtaking views of the lagoon and the Knysna Heads force you to take snapshots from the room's balcony. The guesthouse is spotlessly clean, has comfortable mattresses and provides a full breakfast and provides a free parking area. Its proprietress, Judith, is a bubbly font of local information and advice. Thrilled to be back a second time staying at the lovely Blue Oyster ,Judith is such a welcoming and accommodating owner and she is very capably assisted by Ntombi who cheerfully cooks and presents a delicious breakfast whilst guests enjoy the wonderful views of the knysna lagoon ,it never disappoints. We stayed in one the large en suite rooms upstairs which has every comfort and a great shower ! Very conveniently situated for restaurants etc although you’d probably need a car as quite steep hills to climb.We’ll be back hopefully for...
